I feel your pain. NorCal lost a similar friend 2 years ago when Jory from SOS Marine passed away unexpectedly. Your initial thought is why him and why so early and your feelings are pure shock and then set into unbelievable grief. I will say that the times you spent with him will never be forgotten and the grief will hit you at unexpected times but that time will help with the healing process. Prayers are with all you guys who knew Danny. Life is short....don't be afraid to tell your friends what they mean to you while they are here.

I didnt get the pleasure of meeting Danny, so out of respect to his friends here I have stayed out of these threads for the most part.
I would like to say that through all I have read, He sounds like an amazing presence. Im sorry to see someone like this pass so early.

The idea that 460 put up about a group of people on the internet becoming so close is one that most people cant understand. This forum allows us all to communicate daily and this is something that most people dont do anymore. We all get to stay connected to what each other is doing and going through. I consider myself new to this group, but I also feel that I am building friendships daily. This place is filled with great people and I am glad to be here. Thanks!!

To you Nord, I have never lost a close friend, so I have no idea of how you feel. They say time heals all wounds, but I dont know about that. I hope that you stay open with all your friends and allow us all to help you get through your pain.

I was in no way as close a friend as you to Danny, but, just look around at all the people that morn the loss, the people that all testifly the good ness of Danny..

I can testify this, all I knew of him,he did what he said... he reached out to help me when i needed at no gain for himself...

If he gave his word or promiss... he followed through

god allows you to come into life, and god allows you to be removed...

the only problem i see is you don't have to answer to God during your life...

that allows the wicked to perform... we wouldn't need cops if you got God smacked for everything....


I feel just awesome to have known Danny, and to be on the long long list of people that will never have a bad thing to say about him..

about 7 years ago I thought I was done, I had heart issues. I never thought I would die from it, but I did knew my life wasnt going to be the same. It gave me a entire new out look on being on this planet. It is short, very short.

Nord, it great that you are able to express yourself here on RDP. For years to come, you will be able to come back and re-read these threads and get a smile on your face from all the great stories about Danny. I know tomorrow will be rough, but it will also be a great opportunity to relive his life through the stories from others. Keep your chin up Buddy!! I wish there was more that I could do.

I really feel for all of you that were close to Danny. I couldn't believe the news when I heard it. I knew Danny, but not as well as most of you. He was a great guy and obviously a true friend as can be seen in your posts and pictures.

It really sucks when you lose someone. At first you?re in denial, hoping it?s a mistake or a bad dream. Then you wonder why it happened, because he was just too young. It hurts so much because he really was a great person and you can?t imagine what life will be like not having him around anymore. Not being able to see that smile again. I lost a good friend a few years ago to a drunk driver and hit me pretty hard, so I know what you are feeling. I try to remember the good times and be thankful for having him in our life.

Every time I hear this song it brings a tear to my eye, but at the same time reminds me of how lucky we were to have him in our life. After seeing all the pictures of you guys with Danny, I think you can all relate too.

I have lost a few good friends and family and it is always hard and it hurts. I try to look at life little different, most of the time. To me life doesn't suck, or and it's not just a mutha fucka, it can be hard and most definitely trying at times. Look at the blessing that was given to you though, such as meeting and knowing Danny and all the other friends and family you have.

All you guys and gals, I am sure have had a profound affect on someones life and THAT is living. I find comfort the more I embrace the fact that we are all going to pass, some sooner then other, but it is inevitable.Life is... living is a gift and it is a great blessing to share it with other great people during your life.

Nord, you're right, it's going to be tough. But Danny had a circle of great friends and we all have amazing stories about him and the positive impact he had on our lives. To me, it's about a celebration of his life and all the laughs and good times he brought to us. I've gone through more than 300 pics of Danny for tomorrow's service from friends in all aspects of his life and there is one common denominator in all of them. He lived life to the fullest, was always smiling and brought joy to many around him.

I envied his relationship with Erika, they were the fairytale love story. They meant the world to each other and they were not embarrassed to show it to each other and anyone around them. Erika is torn up but with each passing day the healing is beginning. Life will never be the same for any of us, but none of us will let the good times with Danny fade.
