Sorry Tyro. I lost my mom almost exactly 10 years ago to cancer. 10/2 will be the 10 year anniversary. It hurts like hell for a while, but as each day passes it will get easier. Just try to remember all the good things when you start to hurt. I know it's different for everyone, but that helped me turn some of my tears into smiles.

Don't rush into any decisions right now...don't let anybody push you for a decision with regard to her remains, services, property, personal belongs...nothing.

Do it as it needs to be done and when you are ready...and that ain't today.

Losing your mother is a defining moment in a person's life. Everyone that has lost their mom remembers exactly how long it has been. It's a club that we all join eventually, and frankly membership in this club sucks.
