Stripper stabbing a DJ? That's pretty mild. Honestly, never met a sane, stable, stripper. Maybe they exist, but a better chance at seeing a monkey riding a unicorn at the rodeo.

BUT.....A Vegan Strip Club?! What kind of pasty, nasty, hippy, hairy, leaf licking, incense burning, hog ringed, blue haired creatures could possibly be there?
Not just a "No", a loud "F' No".

I don't ever want to find out...
I'm an American...I want my strippers to have fake tans, fake names and store bought lift kits. Damnit, it should be a crime if they don't have at least cheeseburgers or wings on the menu! 🇺🇸
I didn't open the link, so maybe it was explained. However I can't think of any definition of a "vegan strip club". I don't want to ruin my thoughts.

This is the local strip club and rumors I grew up with.

It's always a "mental health crisis."

A few days ago in a Dallas suburb, police shot and killed a man that had called 911 and announced he intended to harm police that would respond to his call. When several officers arrived at the location, Arthur Armstrong was holding a large knife in each hand, and charged at the nearest officer.

Unsurprisingly, another officer fired a single shot from his duty rifle, and killed Armstrong. RDP members wearing the blue know how quickly the distance between a knife wielding suspect and an officer disappears. It takes just seconds for the buffer to vanish.

Man fatally shot by officer was having mental health crisis, relatives say; police share video

A 40-second video clip captured by a DeSoto police officer’s body camera shows the officer fatally shooting a man holding knives whose family says was experiencing a mental health crisis.

Arthur Lee Armstrong died Friday after being shot in the chest with an assault-style rifle by a DeSoto police officer. Chief Joseph Costa said the 26-year-old “disregarded” commands from police and approached the officer with knives in both hands.

Family speaks out

Charles Boyce, an attorney who said he was a godfather to Armstrong, spoke during the news conference after Costa’s remarks. He said the family, particularly Armstrong’s mother, was having a “hard time understanding” the officer’s rationale for using lethal force.

“We’re reasonable people, and we want reasonable explanations, but, at this point, ” Boyce said, “with the information we have, we cannot understand why this ended this way, knowing that there have been other people in similar circumstances with similar weapons who walked away.” Boyce described Armstrong’s family as a pillar of the DeSoto community, where they have lived for three generations.

Armstrong returned to Texas after some college out of state and maintained an athlete’s diet, eating mostly fruit and nuts. A relative and State Representative, DeAndre Sherman, said he was beloved by his colleagues and customers at Dollar General, where he worked. Armstrong was one of three brothers, all of whom played football, including his younger brother, Andrew, who plays for the University of Arkansas.

The younger Armstrong criticized DeSoto police on social platform X for how the Friday incident was handled. “Yall did my brother like that knowing he had mental health issues [sic] he is in y'all system as one.”

Sherman said his family was mourning Armstrong, but the lawmaker stopped short of criticizing the officer’s actions, citing the ongoing investigation and the intensity of the situation shown in the video clip. “Right now, as a family, we’re just grieving,” Sherman said, “and I don’t want to spend any time thinking about how this might have been this way because I have to live with the fact that he’s not coming back.”

That's a sad situation, all the way around. The police should not be put in that position. If the family knew of his mental state and illness, they are to blame as well as the deceased. He may have been an adult, but not of sound mind. There are ways to keep everyone safe, but they aren't easy for the family. Not just parents, but siblings as well. Even just as simple as keeping knives locked up, or keeping an eye on their moods.

Just another day in Portland. There is literally a stabbing or shooting daily. This one just made the news because it’s it’s not a homeless on homeless or black on black crime and has a funny story. Again, this is a drug problem.

As for Casa Diablo, yep… Vegan food, the bitches can’t wear fur and a laundry list of other shit. I’ve been there, it’s no worse than any of the other 50 in the city, probably a bit cleaner actually. It’s just another “weird” thing about Portland. The place has been there close to 20 years at this point I’d bet!

I'm wondering if the DJ played Aerosmith's "Dude looks like a lady" for her by mistake?

Dan'l
Probably shorted her song.
Did work for a guy that was a DJ at a club. Dancers would get one song, then back of rotation. A good DJ I guess would stretch the song a little here and there, to keep the girl on the pole longer. If a DJ was good I guess, the girls would tip them. Interesting business dynamics at those places. Money printing establishments.

I had no idea how much a bottle of champagne cost until I turned 21 and went to a titty bar. That shit is expensive!

😁
In my life, only been to a few for fun. The rest was for "business", and not the fun kind. Collections, repos and even served papers to patrons and performers.

Always figured being in one was a losing proposition. Spend money, get drunk, come home alone. Hell, could get twice as lit for a third the cost at the local bar...and pick the music on the jukebox (yes, the places I went still had those 🤣) and still come home alone.
