Thinking about doing a leveling kit on my 2022 GMC dually 4x4
I will NOT crank up torsion bars & deal with shitty ride quality.
Is there a kit that won't change ride quality?
I don't want to do an actual lift kit because I don't want to run huge tires.
Thanks for any input

Actually there is about 3” of adjustment. You should only be going up about 1-½”, that shouldn’t affect the ride. They add that extra 3” for those that run a snowplow in the snowy months.

As long as you replace upper control arms and replace Keys with an aftermarket you will not sacrifice ride quality. Replacing with a full length shock and not a shock spacer would also contribute to a better ride.

I think the shackles are the way to go unless you want it taller or want to fit bigger tires.

Turn up the stock torsion keys to bring the nose up 1.5" and then install fox 2.0 shocks in the appropriate length. Ride will be similar to stock. Otherwise, you can spend a lot of money to do a 3-4" lift coil over kit with new control arms.

Cognito or Kryptonite leveling kit with fox shocks. Ride quality is great.

Pretty sure this is what Andy did to his 05 duramax that I own now. Cognito front end , bags in back and fox shocks all the way around. 100% the best riding pickup I’ve ever driven. Rides like a Fuckin cadi.

You also drop the rear with shackles and have it sit level just a little lower. That's what I did with my dually, I didn't want to deal with ride quality, alignment etc

This seems like the perfect way to go for me

All that driving from LOTO to Arizona starting to take its toll there rob?! 😁😁

Don't mind the driving as long as its productive. Tired of the bone stock look. The new brush/deer guard & light bar are awesome

Stock front end, belltech drop shackles and secondary over loads pulled out.

Truck looks fantastic!! I don't tow anything real heavy so removing overload springs seems ideal. Does it squat when u put a trailer on it?
Thanks for all the help

No coilover kits that I know of on the new truck. BDS kit has been "2 weeks" for 2 years...

I did the cognito kit with their upper arm and their aftermarket torsion and it rides at least as good as stock. Left the rear stock and it sits exactly level.

Yeah anything over 300-400 lbs of tongue weight and she will sag. I'm going back and forth now on if I want to run bags or put the overloads back in. I'm not daily driving the truck anymore and it is going back to being a tow pig only.

I took the upper overload stops off of my dually and I prefer the way it rides with 0-1500 lbs tongue weight/load. But I don’t have drop shackles and I still have a bit of front rake so it doesn’t sag..

Yeah with the drop shackles and over loads out I tag the bumpstop if I'm 700+ on tongue and hit a good dip
