when I first started racing ( at 30) the answer is YES! A couple of times... He'd roll up to me and say something like, " If you cant handle this you can't handle Catalina!"... We got clocked a little over 90 at a CDBA Drag boat event at Dexter ( me skiing)... That was another lifetime ago...


its faster now though, punched out to 4 liters and hes " worked it a bit".

I bought a cougar 22mtr and repowered with an 300xs too. Nice torquey motor. I'm banging the rev limiter with bravo 26xs prop. Thinking of a bblades blaster 27 or 28.
