We should get a group RDP day trip or overnighter planned to Barstow. Would be fun bombing around in a group.
Let's do it, sounds like quite a few of us are pretty close and know the area quite well. Slash X for lunch, Easy fuel ups and supply runs at Outlet Center Drive, would be fun.

There are also a couple of decent hotels at Outlet Center Drive if somebody wanted to bring their toy but not an RV.

Off road, on road, you name it. Nothing as cool as all the stuff you guys are posting. But my wife and I have done miles and miles of fast rough dirt roads in the middle of nowhere in this thing in total comfort. Wanted a SxS for a bit but just didn't think we would use it.

I like ac and tunes! My truck does plenty! Waiting for the second year of the talon 4 seater then I’ll be in the sxs game. Yes I know “unpowered and not the most travel” but I’m not Robby Gordon and it’s a Honda!!!!

I’ll look at organizing something after this weekend.

Calico would fun too. It's only 15 minutes past Outlet Center Drive for the SoCal folks, and it has full hookups and a saloon/restaurants within walking distance of the campsites. Lots of fun trails to explore, and free camping for anybody that doesn't want to be in the campground.

Yea I was thinking that could be an option as well. I’ve never been there.

I had always heard people talk about it, and never put any thought into it. Then we tried it once, and we were all hooked. It's pretty cool having full hookups, and being able to ride your toy in and out of camp.

And then having the ghost town a few hundred feet away, and being able to ride your side by side up to the town and park right by the entrance makes it really cool.

Getting delivered tomorrow, definitely envious of all the land you guys have to ride in out west. We will take ours to South Dakota and Colorado. Hopefully someday to Arizona.

I am kind of surprised at how many members have big cars as opposed to SXS's.. I would've originally bet that 95% were SXS.

Granted I know of about 30 SXS's that are still missing from the thread.

Those are good looking wheels!

I need to figure out what I'm going to be doing on the Ranger 150 we bought for my kids. I'm pretty sure they are a similar platform to the RZR 170 but haven't had 2 side by side yet to check.

RZR 170 is single front A arm, Ranger 150 is dual front A arm. Both have rear swing arms, I don't know if they are identical.

@RiverDave - Whens the Official RDP offroad Regatta? Looks like more than enough inmates have rides:D

Can it still be called a Regatta if its not in the water?

I’m bringing it to leave in Havasu this weekend if you want to get a look. We’ll be there all thanksgiving week as well.

He appears to have a heard of quads... and won't buy or ride in a SXS because they are death traps. :)

Could you point out to me where I said that? In my old age, I can't recall saying anything even close to that.

You are one of them!! LOL

RD

True story. I've been thinking about switching from quads to a dirt bike for awhile now. Quads are awesome in the sand, but they do beat you up on the hard pack.

Really I always kind of felt the opposite? When I was a kid coming home from dirt bike riding I'd be sore all over.. On my Quad I'd just cruise and that thing was comfy as all get out, plus I could take a chick with me! LOL.

All of the hard pack guys I ride with have dirt bikes. It's a bitch trying to keep up! It would be a whole lot easier on a dirt bike.

Although I'm Really digging foscheck's car...

2007 Extreme Eco 1 with an LS1 and a 2D trans. This is my second season with it. By all indications, it's a good car. Now just have to work on the driver a bit.

Beautiful car. How much did that set you back? Shoot me a PM if you don't wanna say. Thanks.
