I like this a lot, I wonder if this will force the to fix the slow lane. The 40 heading east in AZ towards NM the slow lane is literally like off-roading and not a washboard fire road, it’s like a fire road after a month of rain with a shit ton of traffic. It’s like a shock and tire test facility, the truck and trailer bash through that stretch hard.

They get in the the fast lane quite often these days. They do not care.

My last trip to the river I was towing on the 10, they wont pull out of the number one lane on the indio grade as wantonly as they used to and 70+ moving right past sitting CHP. There is some kind of inside deal I suppose. I tuck between and just hang out ticket free.

I travel 40 from K-town to Williams, weekly (mp 48 to 161). East bound is by far rougher (truck lane) than the west bound side.

This should apply to everyone not just trucks. Plenty of inconsiderate people sitting in the left lane. 2 lane or not. If you're not going the flow of traffic and there is room in front of you. Please, please, please move over one lane. Drives me nuts when they jump over just to pace the car that was in front of them in the right lane..why!!!!!!!

Anybody who camps out in the furthest left lane, in any vehicle, is a douche. Especially trucks. I can't stand truck drivers that hurt their reputation. They're supposed to be pros.

In Europe it is illegal to pass anyone on the slow side. People get pissed if you do it. They call it undertaking. Sooooo, if you stay in the fast lanes and don't let anyone around it messes the whole system up.

What pisses me off is when four wheelers get on the freeway at 45 mph and don’t look in their mirrors, or over their shoulder when approaching the end of the on ramp. Then the look of terror when they see that I’m along side of them when they finally realize that they’re getting on the freeway and have to merge in.

There are still plenty of good ones. You know. The kind that will give you the turn signal bump flash when it's clear to pass, or flash his running lights when it's all clear to change back into the lane. There are plenty of good truck drivers that don't drive in the fast lane, blocking it for 20 miles too.

I'm not going to beat up my ride just to be in the right lane. But I let people get around me or move over.
I can see at times where I don't blame truckers riding in left lane.
I think there are more bad cagers than truckers

This needs to apply to Prius and electric car drivers too. Everyday on my drive to work there is always some asshole in the #1 lane going 65 holding up traffic with nobody in front of them. Then when you try to pass they speed up to 80+ so you can't get ahead of them.

My coworkers and I have labeled them as regulators. Don't want to drive the speed others are going but do not want you getting past them either. Makes me so angry then they look at you like what is your problem?

I run the 40, Havasu to Kingman and back M-F. I'll admit that I'm never doing the speed limit and I pass almost everyone on the right because they won't move over or don't want to run the potholes. West seems worse for the potholes to me. In my Honda I can usually straddle the bad sections and make my pass and continue my journey home. If I have to slow down, 9X out of 10 it's for a trucker, the other time it's for a prius or crv

Saw these about every mile when we visited Oklahoma. While we were driving everyone complied, pass and get out the way. Simple. Cali freeways are nuts now- 3 and 4 wide trucks only to get around them and then some other dipshit just cruisin. Clogging the whole damn freeway.

Heading down a mtn road, dude in an F250 going 20 in a 35 is on his phone in front of me and not using the slow turnouts. He finally turns out only because I make a siren noise with my mouth and , so he pulls over thinking it is a cop behind him. Realizing it is not a cop, he calls the cops and says there is a car with a cop siren in it and he is driving recklessly. There is a roadblock waiting for me at the bottom of the hill. He also lied and said I was passing on the right. I did not pass on the right or the left. He straight up lied through his teeth. Long story short, charges were tossed after HE finally produced a video six months later proving I wasn't driving recklessly. or passing at any point during the 10 miles of video wasting everyone's time and money. The Video has his little girl in the front seat(not legal) and she asks her dad if "maybe she should have a seat belt on."(not legal again) So yes, I have become a big crybaby. People are so fucking ignorant and lost in space that natural selection needs to happen more frequently. Guaranteed this is the tool with the behemoth rollbar boat that ends up sinking other boats and then his own.
