If one gets on you just take a knife blade or something flat and slide under the body and wiggle it around once you get near the head of it. They will pop right off. No biggie...
Had a friend of a friend tell me people in their group were hanging in the channel, by Kingsview condo's and had leaches all over their feet after hanging in the water all day. Anybody else?
Leaches are getting to be everywhere on the lake. One of those cycles of nature.
we were in a cove down river from steamboat. when we pulled anchor, there were leaches on it.
I think some leaches drank all of your beer the last time I was up at your house.
Weird :headscratch:
at least the ice snakes are gone for the season.I live in Havasu and YES there are leeches and they are not just at the sandbar. You can find them up and down the river. Right across from Body Beach on the California side there are leeches as well. They look like little red thread about an inch in length. We also have Naegleria fowleri amoeba in our lake and if one gets up your nose and into your brain you are dead within two weeks and there is no cure.
