My Hood.

What exactly are you looking for? American? Mexican? Upscale or just good food?

Not LAX. But we do the original fish company in Los Alamitos. Then head to lax.

Funny you mention Lawry's because my wife is taking me to dinner there next week for my B-Day. HaHa!
Let us know how it is.... we ate their last year and it was OK, not like the years before covid....Hopefully they brought back bringing the meat carts around to the table, they stopped doing that too...

Now Musso and Franks was legit... Going back soon, the drive just sucks from the IE.

I hate nice restaurants....too expensive, I have to put on nice clothes, and usually not enough food on the plate.

No idea where you're coming from, but on El Pollo Inca in Hermosa beach doesn't disappoint...great Peruvian food. There's the REAL Big Wok on Sepulveda and about 3rd street in Manhattan Beach that is awesome. If you're in the mood for italian, Spumoni Tratoria on Aviation and Prospect is excellent, and reasonably priced.

There's a Cuban joint on the corner of Inglewood Avenue and Manhattan beach blvd that kicks ass if you're into that.

My shop is in Gardena and we pickup the Pollo Inca all the time on Artesia down the street. One of our favorite meals for lunch!

Honestly if you want some damn good Italian (one of the best in LA) you guys gotta try Eatalian. It's a couple blocks from my shop in Gardena/West Compton, but the inside is nice and it really is one of the best Italian Restaurants you've ever had. I recommend the joint to friends and they drive for hours because they are hooked.

But why don’t you want to go to France?
I’d loved to go to Europe and probably will now that we’re on the east coast and semi retired.

If you just want to drop them off, there are some nice restaurants in the International Terminal.
The only real restaurant he can get to without a boarding pass is Planet Hollywood at Bradley terminal. There is a sandwich place and something else that are take-out type places. Plus he said easy parking. 😂

There is a pretty good BBQ place called Sauced that is good with a bar and axe throwing. Good parking, big shopping center.
For Mexican, I like Paco’s Tacos of Manchester. But parking might suck.

For laid back lunch type places, Benny’s Tacos and Rotisserie on Manchester and Lincoln. Parking can suck.
Eat Fantastic for burgers on Douglas just south of Imperial, good parking.

Downtown El Segundo has some other good places but parking can be tough, but not terrible.

And on Sepulveda just south of Manhattan Beach Blvd is Big Wok Mongolian BBQ and a Hawaiian and Indian place. I haven’t been to the Hawaiian or an Indian place but I really like Big Wok. Parking is good at lunch, not sure how busy it’ll be at dinner.

Why not buy a lounge pass for the airline they are flying? You can find them for about $40 for 2 passes. That way they can be dropped off early, check baggage, get through security, then relax in a lounge sipping on cocktails and eating food?

Used to eat there a lot. Ex favorite Italian spot.

The best El Pollo inka is the rolling hills location. But if close I will eat any of them for lunch.

Not far from LAX in Manhattan Beach. Joey's. But it's always packed. Best to get a reservation.

My favorite spot for lunch by you is the Prospector. 805s, wings and Fish tacos.

love italy.been 4 times,france not so much
Did London, Paris and many cities in Italy Last year for 3 weeks. I am right there with you on Paris. I don’t really have a desire to go back for many reasons. THere are too many other places that intrigue me to visit. Perhaps the country side would be nice but the city was a one and done for me. 👍
