2003 Laveycraft 21 XTSki open bow.
496 Mag HO, 425 HP, has aprox 500 Hours. Bravo 1X outdrive with shower. 26 P SS 4 blade Bravo 1 Prop. Runs 70 mph + with a light load. I never really ran it over 4K rpm. Just liked to cruise around 3,000-3,500. The mid range acceleration is awesome! From what I hear the 496HO should run for 1,000+ hours.
The motor has NEVER left me stranded in the six years I’ve had it. No expense spared when it comes to the service. I have a ton of maintenance records I could pass on.
I solely use the boat in Havasu. It is currently stored there, in a storage unit. I have stored it indoors since the purchase. It is available for an inspection by any of the major shops in town. You will have to pay for the inspection.
Colors are white, blue, gray with some black.
It’s a very classy design that will still look great 20 years down the road.
Lavey’s 21 is large, as they don’t count the built in swim step in the hull measurement. It’s actually almost 23 feet long. Stepped hull, delta pad. New gator step on the swim step as of last year.
Electric powered single ram hatch, power trim. Gray Bimini top. Has a pair of wind deflectors which work really well.
Two batteries which get put on the trickle charger after every trip. It has a Sunbrella cover. Two 25 gallon fuel tanks, runs on regular unleaded gas. Port/Starboard fuel switch. Fuel gauge has low level warning light. Pop up cleats. Offshore controls. Perko Battery switch
Interior is configured with one rear facing seat. In-floor cooler, plus two built in coolers under the back seats. Large in floor storage. It has interior lighting.
The stereo works now. The speakers hit pretty hard too! New head unit/speaker boxes a few seasons ago.
The cons:
The trailer has issues which will need to be addressed down the line. Previous owner took it in salt on two occasions. I’ve had the cross members braced in a few spots. Also had about $1,200 worth of work done at Franks Trailer repair in Havasu last season. Side note, engine shows NO sign of being in salt. It does have a swing away tongue.
It has some scratches and dings in the gel. Some of the stitching on the cushions is separating mildly. The carpet could use a refresh as oil spilled in one spot. Aside from that, the carpet is in decent shape. Overall boat is in good shape for its age.
Boat recently had a full detail (interior and exterior).
I love this boat and am already regretting the sale. I’m getting depressed just thinking about it.
