Any updates? I see SCJB is having an event there soon.

I stayed at Bayshore for the Mother's day event at Backbay, long narrow ramp but not busy, they have a decent little bar there also and the old bartender is pretty cool. If you have an RV, Big Bend is a cool spot to camp with a good launch ramp.

I saw three or so pontoon boats in the slips and a couple sea doos. So your saying they are kicking the last few boats there out? Do you know if they have new owners and what they are going to do with the place?

There's been a bunch of dirt work going on there. Couldn't tell you exactly where, but a bunch of trucks and equipment.

Wasn’t it supposed to turn into a RV park? We used to enjoy the food at the restaurant there.

I took my boat down there a few weekends ago just to fire it up and the grounds keeper pulled up as I was backing down the ramp. He said they are working on the restaurant and bar so they can open it up in the near future. No word on the ramp or slips.

The dirt work going on down there is from when they dredged the marina a couple years ago. They are hauling it down near the new BHC/Laughlin bridge that is under construction just before the Avi.

I called 3 days ago looking for storage and believe you me its full in bullhead, fort mohave and needles. Needles had some availability but its the warehouse where they pull your boat out for you and I didnt want that.
Anyways, I said my buddy stores his boat with you and I wanted to check on availability and she said due to insurance not making sense they are telling everyone they have until the end of august and I can tell my buddy that too.
I called and told him and he called up there and the guy that lives there confirmed it and said he was sorry.

At Big Bend there is a beach, Bayshore does not have one

No, my buddy lives across the river in Bullhead directly across from the entrance
