Laughlin Bay Marina (not open, but hopeful thoughts)

Walked down to the marina yesterday, ran into the owner, "Tim" nice chap, asked when are they opening?

He chatted about this and that, permits etc., some of the plans as they go forward, sounds extremely promising to say the least. However his forecast for this summer was optimistic at best. Tons of work has been done, and it looks very nice. Of course I'm hoping they open tomorrow, but more than likely it will be late this season or later this year.

Developer hopes to write new chapter for Laughlin Bay Marina

Laughlin Bay Marina, built along the Colorado River last decade, seems like a sleepy space. But now, its new owner is betting the facility can become a destination resort.

Looks like they've done a ton of work. I can't imagine how much money has been spent to get to this point. I hope the powers that be issue what permits are needed for them soon.

I can barely make it to the AVI bridge without having an anxiety attack. Too many underwater obstacles and water doesn’t come up till late in the day. Good luck to the new owners

From what I understand in addition to the rack storage, they will take you boat from the rack and launch it for you with an F-150 2WD.
