I mean most wakeboard boats are full of ballast, bow up, plowing water already anyway, so no need to do anything different....LOL

Living in the Northwest, this is just a part of boating. I have enough supplies to stay a night on the boat. I have had to seek shelter in a cove with two anchors, for 6 to 7 hours before. You cant outrun it. After the storm water was beautiful. Im doing this on a V-Drive cruiser.

The first thing I’d do is put on and make my passengers wear their life preservers. Then I’d have them sit down and hold on while I keep the bow pointed into the weather. As soon an it passes we will have a good story to tell..

Sucks that all these boats got damaged. However, for the life of me, I cannot understand why someone would attempt to load there boat in a storm with big swells, in an unprotected part of the lake? I guess it boils down to inexperience. I was taught to point the bow high, find a cove and wait it out.

I think that ramp has the most fights of any ramp in the west, no way would I launch there when there are 2 other ramps on the lake that are protected.
