I have not stayed in that house so you're good! Good location as it isn't too far to opening to the lake. Awesome!

The docks can get a little tight in the corner lots but if you only have one boat you'll be fine.

I know. Most of 50 is good for towing. It’s just a few turns at the summit. A bit tight but fine. I have gotten my boat over there once or twice too on 50.

What do you think of the Nevada side versus CA side of highway 50?

I haven’t been into Nevada on 50 in years.

50 is no big deal, I've towed some big ass boats on 50 and as long as you pay attention to the suggested speeds in the corners you'll be fine.

Grew up in Bishop. Went from 3rd grade through high school there. Went to school with Eric's son. Glad you are having a nice drive. Weather looks awesome (well you are just two hours from where I am at) so it's similar.

Oh we propped down alright....my buddy pulled into emerald bay and smacked a rock like a rookie!

The boat needs smaller props anyhow, it would not plane with a full load.

Looking for a set of Volvo props, do they make Volvo DP props in aluminum by chance? I’m guessing not

Not sure on the actual temp but pretty damn cold. Not much worse feeling than the upper river though. Air temp is 75 so I think that makes it tolerable

I think they have to be Volvo. Boat has F7’s In it now probably needs to drop 2 sizes. We have a bunch of stuff planned, spent today in town with the kids and tomorrow we are rafting the truckee river. We’ll probably just roll the boat “Duffy style” and keep it close to home. Still having a blast! We have a few other friends with boats too so we can still get out there and explore

There's a boat shop in the Tahoe Keys Marina, maybe check with them on the props. If you're not going to drive very far in the boat maybe check out The Beacon/CampRichardson.
