Lake Havasu Boat Show April 5 - 7!

This is honestly one of my favorite events of the year. It's where we get to kick back and see all the members of RDP and actually hang out with people. It's also where we debut most of our latest clothing items for 2019, and gauge what we are going to run for Desert Storm!

On Friday night everyone is going to the heat! Little meet and greet for the vendors and customers.

I like the enthusiasm -- this will be the largest and best Havasu Boat Show ever. I'm trying to get the exhibitor list to settle down so I can post it -- people are still asking to get in the show. Maybe the highlight this year will be the demo-dock. We should have 10 to 12 boats in-water (the courtesy dock at Windsor 3 is being temporarily extended to accommodate all the boats (and there will be performance boats on-the-dock). Also want to remind everyone that we are having a cornhole tournament on Saturday and Sunday with over $2,500 in cash prizes sponsored by Havasu Community Credit Union. Anyone can play, classes for all skill levels (doubles and singles) and professionally run by KB Kornhole Games. You can pre-register online to play at -- https://www.kbkornhole.com/lakehavasuspring.html The dates are April 5-7, Lake Havasu State Park, Windsor 4 -- hours, Friday noon to 6pm, Saturday 9am to 6pm and Sunday 9am to 3pm. Admission only $8 for adults, kids 6 & under are free and parking is free. Discount admission coupons will be found in the Whitesheet, Adspay, Shopper and Todays News Herald plus about 50 retail locations throughout Havasu.

Here's the demo dock in-water line-up at this time: SunCountry Marine, 1 Bennington pontoon, 1 Nautique; a 26' and 24' from Pavati (all aluminum wakesport boats); 2 from Eliminator (a 36 Speedster and 27 Speedster); a Malibu from Boulder Boats; a Premier pontoon or JC Pontoon from Boat Broker; an Avalon pontoon from Got Water Marine; a Cruisin Tiki bar boat; possibly a Howard Sport Deck, and five more boats on trailers sitting on the ramp at Windsor 3 ready to be launched when needed.

I was just talking to the wife about this last night. This is the weekend we we're planning on making our way home from Tucson. Maybe a night in Havasu would be a better option than diving to Burbank and then Paso the next day. The girls LOVED the LA Boat show so the Havasu one should be way better to them.

With that said.... Which hotels would you guys suggest for Saturday night?
