Thinking about taking the kids to this and some friends. Is it really going go on and is it pretty consistent with boats going or is there a lot of down time? Kids might get impatient. How much is it to watch?

Plenty of videos on YouTube from @Sharp Shooter Haven’t been to one personally but usually pretty good turn out of boats and good people also

Boats start running fairly early and consistent throughout the day, hasn't been a charge to attend for the last few years.

A legit tunnel or Winger isn't what people are talking about.

Jet Botes have all but ruined CFW. You will have a couple fast hydros waiting to make a pass, and the jets run 3 wide at 65 mph with their roster tails up, and doing donuts, thinking they are the shit.

jet boats get turned around at the gate..just saying. not enff room....this event started with 5 guys vdrive 5 boats last yr about 60 flattys and hydros its bigger every year....

the jet guys have the tom papp memorial usually the next weekend...

Unofficial start time is 8am. You park outside the main gate or just inside the gate to the left if there is room and walk in from there. Bring chairs of you want to sit on the shore and watch and some warm clothing for the morning.
