Wood bat tournaments are fun. Something differentMy oldest son got invited to play in a wood bat tournament down in San Diego so will be up at 5am on Saturday for games at 8:30am and 11am. Sunday game times TBD. Monday, doing nothing. Probably a couple naps out on the patio....lol.
Woke up to a flooded garage....water heater decided to give up the ghost and the drain didn't work so....thats a freaking mess with carpet and ALL of my stuff from the CC house in boxes on the floor.
SW’s VGG?Flying to Tuscon Sat morning to buy a 28 year old truck and attempting to drive it 1300 miles home to Montana on the word of a total stranger. Since I like to share my adventure with my ride or die, she decided she was coming with me as opposed to wondering if I would be stranded in the desert somewhere.
What could go wrong?
Thankfully most of our stuff is in the big plastic tubs. Lost some owners manuals and kids books in cardboard boxes as well as some drywall damage and the carpet is soaked so it’s coming out. (our garage is partial indoor outdoor carpet)I just had that exact same thing happen. Luckily nothing on the floor got wet besides a gun safe which wasn’t damaged at all.
I caught it just in time. Walked out front to take the trash to the street and started to see a trickle of water coming out below my closed garage door.
It’s still a pain in the ass to deal with.
There are several members here that live in Tucson. I think both @bagged97taco and @SW_GLASS both live in Tucson off the top of my head.Flying to Tuscon Sat morning to buy a 28 year old truck and attempting to drive it 1300 miles home to Montana on the word of a total stranger. Where is the truck at? If it’s doable I can check it out. I am leaving town tomorrow afternoon, but could swing by if it’s close in the morning.Flying to Tuscon Sat morning to buy a 28 year old truck and attempting to drive it 1300 miles home to Montana on the word of a total stranger. Got called into driving duty to get friend’s stuff to Indy for the US Nationals. Got behind the scenes tours of Force’s race shop, Tasca,s race shop, and Bruce Litton’s museum. An epic trip so far and we’re just getting started.
You have graduated from tax fraud to insurance fraud, this is a huge step worthy of celebrationI am planning on waking up Saturday morning and lighting my boat on fire………. Then using the insurance proceeds to find a new hobby. LOL
