Bunch of wind & crossed-up swell this morning…. Took my psycho dog down there to burn off some energy …. I got a few Evil laughs watching her get bounced around 😆

Awesome!

Im reporting you, he's not wearing booties or a life vest and I bet you didn't even use a baby stroller to get him there.

LOl We used to take our Chessie to Dog Beach in SD and do the same. He'd go out and get hammered then come in ready to go again.

@jetboatperformance Nice !
I had a hand-me-down Chocolate years ago . . . a buddy got her, but his neighbors complained of the barking so the HOA made them get rid of her.
They'd had her for a year so she was already house trained & fairly mellow . . . this one on the other hand . . .Hole-E-Hell !
Got her from a rescue and 2-weeks into it I was looking at the paperwork to see what the 'return policy' was ! 😄
But of course, they attach and grow on you & become family . . . and she forces me to get off my fat ass to exercise which is a good thing for both of us !

@2Driver . . . . Funny you say that . . .my neighbor see's me washing her after the beach the other day and comes over saying that I need to get her a lifejacket with a handle on top. 😄 I was like, "You should come down to watch her swim, if anyone needs the lifejacket it's Me". 🤪

Sea Looking a little angry today, West swell?
Yeah . . . there's actually a decent west ground swell under all that wind swell mess.
There was 1 surfer paddling out when I first got there . . . the side current swept him down the beach and out of sight . . . a little while later he came running back up the beach and told me that he'd actually got some good ones, but it was really a workout. I said "at least you've got it all to yourself"!

Ha that reminds me of watching the local Costa Rican kids tossing sticks into giant high tide shore break in Hermosa. The dogs would get pummeled and come right back for more fun.

We had a Black Lab named Somba. We took her to the HB Dog beach a couple times a year in my LJ Jeep, then over to the fairy in NP, and have breakfast on Balboa Island. Those were great days for sure.

One time Somba was so far out trying to recover someone else's ball that I started to become concerned. I waded in the water yelling her name for what seemed like an eternity. I turn around to yell to my wife I can't find her half panic'd....and she is standing about one foot behind me...ball in mouth.

At the river up by Parker Dam we would float down like all the others. We would place her on the engine cover on our Lavey Sebring, throw a 1/2 filled water bottle off the bow, watch her leap off the bow, swim under water, and come up with that water bottle ever time for as many times as you can stand it. Attracted a crowd she did.

She used to dive down for rocks 6+ feet. One time at the river I was about 5 feet down trying to push the anchor in the soop and there she is, chain in mouth, pulling.

Hero dogs rule but IMO all dogs rule.
