Key West World Races/Poker Run 2016...who's in??

We're booked. Can't wait. The absolute best event in the country. If you've never attended, put it on your bucket list. Especially if you like to party with a little boating mixed in

The races are all week on and off. Poker run groups leave Miami Monday Tuesday Thursday and Friday. Big races are Friday and Sunday. Street party is Thursday night as is the OSO and speed on the water party. Everyone runs out to the sandbar on Saturday for an unofficial run (see pics)

We get there Thursday and leave Monday. Maybe 8 hours of sleep the whole weekend.

Lauderdale on the 5th.Going to hang out there for a few days then head south.Would love to do the poker run,but that is next on my bucket list.Staying in Key West till Monday then flying to Antigua for 6 days.16 Days with no work or clients on my ass !!!!!! Kinda waited to long to pull the trigger on booking a room or house.Going to stay at The Marker Resort close by.Room rates are unreal !!! Ocean Key Resort is right where the boats run in front,$1,200.00 per night with a 4 night minimum.The Marker was about half that price which is nuts... Next time i will be renting a house for sure.

Hahahaha. I wish I didn't already buy commercial flights or we'd be going with him on his plane again...oh well, she's stoked.

Anyway, yea, we'll be at gilberts for the first card stop and to hang out a bit on our way down. Not riding on a bit this year, just taking our time and driving down. Wife's big into sea glassing so we may try and find some spots on the way down Thursday.

We'll be at the speed on the water / OSO party Thursday night too. Street party Friday night and out on the sandbar Saturday if I can finally not be hung over and make it for once! May do the tourist thing Sunday and go see the fort on Sunday.

Ocean Key Resort and The Marker still have rooms,but be prepared to pay !!!!!! Slips close to race central are gone from what friends have told me.There are still some house boats on vrbo to rent....but all the good rentals are booked.Anyone that wants to go next year book you're lodging now !!!!!

We need to all meet up for some cocktails......
