I think it’s so funny you’re staying at Gilbert’s. In the past nearly 25 years we’ve been running down here I’ve never known anyone that actually stayed there. Lol. Just the fuel up and get drinks at the tiki bar.

I’ve always thought it would be a bitchen spot to spend the weekend.

By the way if anyone is looking for a nice hotel and a good rate, in Miami this sole place is on the beach, clean, nice staff, about a mile from haulover inlet. We got a room for $100 a night. Rooms clean and nice.

If you are talking about the full boogey experience running down the coast, and maybe over to the Bahamas etc.. it would be 1,000.00 per person for 2 big CC's.. Fuel / Food / Booze / lodging / dockage would be extra.

That's for 37 midnight kinda rides. Randy Swears rents big CC's.. I'd highly recommend hiring a captain like C-Ya or someone that Is familiar with the program as there's tons of shallow spots out in the ocean out there near Key West.. and he knows the protocol to goto Bahamas etc..
