I want to get the wife a Keurig for Christmas and have no clue on which one to get. I don't drink coffee so don't know anything about them. When I look them up there are way too many to choose from.

Thanks

whichever machine you buy make sure to get the re-useable baskets. You can fill them with your own coffee and saves you a ton of money.

Those things are like a shaving razor, get you in and squash you on the refills.

I received the Vue edition last Christmas. Love it. :thumbsupFast and Hot. Comes to about .88 cents a cup. Large travel cup. I was paying $1.75 at our local donut shop. The only set back is a lot of places do not carry the V cups. K cups everywhere. I go to Bed Bath and Beyond of all places to get my V cups. Also, I bought that "fill your own coffee" insert. Was never able to get the right cup of coffee regardless of how fine ground.:thumbsdown

Bed Bath and Beyond is good for that stuff. Also get the Bosch Tassimo T discs there. That machine is so much better than the Keurig stuff but they signed on with Starbucks and did better marketing so the k cup stuff took off. I don't drink coffee much or it would be much more frustrating.

I picked up a Keurig K45. Pretty basic, brews a good hot cup of coffee. Costco for the K cups.

Costco has the upgraded model with the automatic timer and k cups to get you started cheaper than anywhere else I've found.

You should be able to get K-cups for $0.30 - $0.50 each, any more and it's not good value IMHO.

Get the one from Costco. We have that one and it is great. We use it more than the regular pot. The only draw back is filing the travel mugs, you have to cycle it twice to fill. I dont refill the filter thogh , just reuse whats there for 2nd run.
if you grind your own coffee and use the fill your own kcup, the coarser the grind is better. We grind on medium works great.

Ok, the one at Costco is K75 for $150. Looks like that will be the one I get. Looking at amazon it is $20 more.

Thanks everyone

I've had mine for a couple years now. Dig that thing and no issues.

I usually purchase K Cups direct from Keurig. The email a special, have free shipping, and no tax (not positive on the last one).

I need decaf (heart deal) and Costco and the like does not have decaf.

If you want a keurig for an RV, or if counter space is at a premium, don't get one with a built-in water tank. They're huge. In cases like this, there's a much smaller one that you pour water into for each use, and they run about $70.

Look on line for decaf. When I was looking they had several blends and half were decaf.

Plus if I breaks costco will return it or exchange it

Bed, Bath, and Beyond will also replace it no questions asked when it stops working. It's not an advertised policy, but they will replace them.

Frank....they will but we have found that calling Keurig and talking to them will also net you a new machine.

Last time Jean called they sent us a brand new machine and only asked us to send back the basket mechanism from the old one....the new one arrived in 2 days.

Recommend that you call Keurig Customer service first and if that doesn't get youa new machine then take it back to Costco......they WILL give you back what you paid.

Look at QVC I picked up a k79 platinum plus with 70 coffee pods, water filter and, reuse able k cup for $149. It's $164 now but will probably be back on sale this weekend. It has rinse and hot water buttons. Can't find k79 anywhere else online but QVC
