Arizona election tabulations have been very quiet this afternoon. Too quiet one might say….

I was listening to news radio on the way home. The next ballot drop is at 6 tonight AZ time, in about 40 minutes. I think they said it will be around 275k ballots and they have been trending 70 percent to Kari Lake in previous drops.

They were predicting that she will pass Katie Hobbs tonight. I believe they said these are mail in ballots that were dropped off in person, so they have to go through the same signature verification process that a regular mail in ballot has to before being counted.

We will know shortly.

Local radio stream…9 minutes.

The 275k drop will be at the end of the week, not tonight. Tonight will be 130k’ish, so might not pass her tonight.

Sorry, was driving, on the phone and listening to the radio. Lol

Most of the outstanding ballots are those who voted early and dropped them off at a polling location.

Seems proper to subject all those ballots to the same scrutiny of signature verification and other checks to assure they are valid as are other early voter ballots. Such validation measures naturally take time given the volume. But while doing so some argue that it is “rigged”.

The other solution is to just tabulate them without appropriate checks. Which would be wrong.

Do it right and whoever wins, wins.

Dammed if you do, dammed if you don’t. Or as I have learned in life no good honest deed goes unpunished.

Sad what our country has become where honest rule following election workers are subjected to threats against their families and themselves as well as false claims of fraud and malfeasance for simply assuring a free and fair election.

Arizona population 7.276 million (2021). Florida population 21.78 million (2022)
Question, how is it that Arizona can't cope counting of three times less voter's tabulation vs Florida's?
Different programmers running Dominion machines? 🤔😜

Maybe it’s fraud and Lake’s win will be illegitimate like Biden’s. 🤔😬

Wow, you, Hobbs and Kelly have the same speech writer🤣

I would think most here on this site are not calling for the slaughter of all poll workers and their family. I would think most are upset with the ineptitude shown by some working, and some managing the elections. The numbers of votes needing to be counted should not have taken anyone by surprise. If in fact the workers were given poor direction by supervisors, those in charge should be held accountable.

Now then, who was it in charge of these elections? Oh, that's right, it was Hobbs. I guess we can't blame her, as she hasn't had time to actually do her elected duties the past year...busy with planning a promotion.
The good thing, the guy who screwed up the last Maricopa election will probably take her place...and thus continue the cycle.

The person in charge of each counties elections is the elections director in that county and it’s board of supervisors. The secretary of states office does not “run” those county elections nor does it manage the daily operations of such elections. And it is almost entirely Republicans running them in Maricopa county.

It’s all in that pesky state constitution and state law.

Early ballots dropped off at the polling site on Election Day should be verified. That takes time. They are not ballots cast at an election site where ID was shown.

You want safe and secure elections but now you are arguing it is incompetence to verify such ballots.

If you would have promoted competent R candidates out of the primary their vote margins would make this exercise meaningless such in Florida where they are still counting yet many R’s won by 20 points so the remaining ballots will not change the outcome.

This isn’t just in Arizona but all over the nation in close races.

For a conservative you sure do expect a lot out of government. 🤷

Sorry it took me some time to get back to this...helping son with American Sign Language homework and also taking a course from the American Chemical Council. Let's take these three highlighted points, and address them, shall we?

1) In a business, which I hear you've been a part of a few, you hire management to run employees. They are not doing the actual functions of those employees, they are there to (hopefully) run things in a smooth manor to reach objectives set forth by the ownership, or upper management.

Hobbs was the one overseeing the county run elections. She, in effect, would be the aforementioned "manager". In a free market, efficiently run business, she would be replaced with a more capable individual. This being slightly different, she may be promoted. Not many positions that one could get paid while using your boss's (taxpayer) money to bribe your boss's for a promotion. It is, however, the democrat way.

2)Nowhere did I state their incompetence was based on voter verification. The inability to have functioning machines, and poor planning for the operation of polling places? Yes, that is incompetence.

That said, poor management leads to poor quality of employees. Both sides take some blame there as well.

3)As a "conservative", all I ask of this country is to defend our borders and try not to start any wars. They're doing a piss-poor job of those, so not too happy with any of them, from either side of the aisle.

I predict Lake will loose to Hobbs, similarly like OZ lost to Fettermen.
Apparently 50.8% of Pennsylvanians are compromised as their new Senator.
Both Lake and OZ were backed by Trump, TDS is a powerful disease.
Also predict, Fetterman will resign, letting his party to choose a competent candidate to replace him. His mission accomplished to have a seat in the senate for the Dem.

Man I sure hope she's able to pull this win off!! I think she would do a helluva job and would be a force to reckon with later on down the road. I'm not a resident of AZ, but I would LOVE to retire there and GTFO of Commiefornia!

It's ok cause she's a demo🐀
Well. one employee and one supervisor [ KH ] won't be able to count 400.000 ballots in a day;):p:D

Read one comment that makes sense> If the senate had already been decided the count would be over. But now that it isn't and the majority of the rest of the vote will be in favor of the R's....they have to figure something out. Comical that they wonder why people dont trust elections.

And everyone laughs when I say your vote has no meaning.

Everyone still uses Dominion for fuck's sake!

Just unbelievable.

How any elected official in MC County can even show up at work tomorrow.....

Karma is a bitch, and everyone who is colluding with fucking over the American people right now should kiss your ass goodbye.

Traitors get no mercy.

I can't even believe the SHERIFF has done NOT A SINGLE FUCKING THING.

Sheriff's an elected official here. Recall that Sumbitch. Coward of the County if he doesn't stand for the People and the Constitution he swore an oath to protect.

When I first started reading I thought he was shutting down the Clown show. That's what a Lawman would do.
Silly me...
