I think she’s actually pretty smart, she verbally joust with the best of them. Her problem is sometimes she goes a bit too far and I think that’s what turns people off.

I get it, but did she win the R primary?

Yes, she did win the primary. I think she had a little more media exposure and name recognition than Mark Lamb. Whether that helped her or hurt her, I don’t know.🤣

DJT has a similar problem and look where that got him! If she is following Trumps style why isn't it working for her?

Because the RINO's hate continually losing to Trump, she is the new MAGA target due to their control in the state!! 😝
She’s definitely not part of them Republican hierarchy. She touched a lot of nerves when she ran against Kirreen Robson (however you say her name) for governor.

I voted for her but don’t like her. Getting the senate was that important. Losing to Katie Hobbs should have been a sign. AZ Republican Party needs to find better candidates.

THAT is NOT the problem, MARICOPA COUNTY, is a CESSPOOL of Corruption. Hobbs and her "BUTT BUDDY" AG, are SCUM, and it will not take much to replace them with SOME $'s with McConnel gone next round.

Here’s what I don’t get.
The “abortion issue”…
Trump did not make abortion illegal.
Nowhere has HE banned abortion.
The SC correctly ruled that RvW was not a constitutional issue.
It NEVER should have been ruled on to start with.
We are not a nation of dictatorship where the feds tell us what to do outside of our constitution.
State authority over State issues is EXACTLY how it’s supposed to work.
If a person does not agree with their States position on any issue, then work to change it or move to a different state more in line with a persons needs or ideology.
I am not a right to lifer. I have no problem with early term abortion, especially with extenuating circumstance’s.
I’m FAR more against having further federal oversight and laws on things that are legally outside of their jurisdiction.
What’s so hard to understand about that?
The way it stands right now, the President and the Federal government have zero to do with abortion.
That’s how it should be according to the Constitution.
This is something that has become a catch phrase and rhetorical perch with zero regard to the reality of the issue.
100%!

So theres 5.5 million voting aged people in AZ. 4.3 million are actually registered. And roughly 2-2.5 million show up to vote. I think thats pretty good but 100% turn out is always better. One thing I wish the state would advertise is your employer has to give you 3 hours paid time off to vote. The employer has the choice of when those hours are but the benefit is atleast there.

I personally dont feel Kari Lake aligned best with my platform, but she aligned better than her opponent so she got my vote.

Unfortunately the world becomes more secular every election than biblical. Maybe if Christians did a better job promoting the Bible versus their church people would have a change of heart. I was born and raised in a Christian home and Ill be honest, ive learned more in the last 2 months by physically reading my Bible, than I've ever learned from any preacher man. Going to Christ saves you, not going to church.

Many Christians just don’t bother to vote.

Thats pretty much spot on, thats why I have come to believe my Bible is authoritative, not my church. God makes it clear what his expectations are of us, however it gets blurred when we take it out of context, or just dont read it at all.

Another weird thing about "followers of Christ" not voting is churches are typically polling sites... Haha maybe they find certain churches so repulsive they wont even step onto their grounds, even if it is to vote.

I don’t think Lake aligns with those for centered republicans.
That said, need her to win. I would like to see a larger majority in the senate and house for republican’s.

Lake winning the R primary is exactly why she cannot win an election. Look at the stats. Makes no difference if you are R or D you must get votes in large numbers from the Other column.

Trump has figured this out. Lakes continues to push away the middle. The good news is I believe she is done. I would not look for Trump to give her a job higher than the secretarial pool

I don’t think she is done unfortunately. She’s got to big an ego. I won’t support her in a primary but if she makes a general I will vote along part lines anyway.

She really screwed up telling the independant mc Cain voters to not bother voting for her. She only needed a few of them to win a general. Az independents add up to almost a third of voters. Without them you ain’t going to win. But her base is strong in primary.

They are still waiting for the 200,000 ballots from Hong Kong on bamboo paper like in 2020. 👍

Edit: Edited to correct type of paper on Chinese ballots. :)

In other words inmates, he’s got nothing!!! 😂

This is my whole point. I am a registered independent. Like many I choose not to vote in the primary. I can but do not think it fair. She does well in a primary but cannot get a W in the general. You cannot win a statewide office in AZ only getting R votes.

Then the non Lake voting R's get the representation that they deserve.

Agree and a good chunk of independents lean towards republicans but some just turn that group off and that’s what she did. Some don’t believe it but that’s the truth.

It does not matter in a statewide election if she gets 100% of the Republican registered voters. It's not enough. Look at the numbers I posted.

Part of the issue is his commercials. He ran like he was a Republican. Some people aren’t all that informed and don’t really pay attention to the down ballot races. Just through casual conversation, my Trump flag flying neighbor was going to vote for Ruben Gallego because she thought he was the conservative based on TV commercials she had seen. Fortunately, I was able to educate her before she voted.

I just checked, and Kari Lake appears to be closing the gap some more.
I do agree something fishy may be going on with the vote count. 🤷‍♂️

make sense.

FYI

22% remaining ballots to count....

572,000 ballots left to count...

Hopefully some people have a little integrity and properly count the votes...

Well, that sounds promising, I don’t have a lot of faith in anything that I see or read because I’ve looked at different sites that have different numbers and percentages of ballots left. I don’t know what to believe anymore. All I know is I’m glad Trump won and I’m glad we have a majority in the Senate. Other than that, I’m kind of pissed off about this whole fiasco of counting ballots in Arizona and some of the other fucked up states.

Lamb would have been the best candidate for sure💪
I totally agree on Mark Lamb. Unfortunately your stuck voting for her because Gallego is a leftist piece of shit. I think Kari is a nut case especially on abortion rights but I could see her as border Czar for Trump. At least she'll show up to the border unlike the last border Czar.
