Kari has no qualifications to be a senator, I cant stand ruben either but come on she was crazy, and that wasn't going to get us anywhere with all the carpetbaggers that have moved in Az over the last 8 years. Used to run into her at the bars in Scottsdale back in the 90s when she was a tv reporter.

She wasn’t to bright in the way she said things. Don’t forget she also told the mc Cain voters she doesn’t want their vote 2 years ago. I’m surprised she’s even this close though.

I didn’t vote for her in governor primary or senate but still voted for her in general as I don’t vote for dems.

She has no qualifications for government. She is nothing but a talking head that talks out her ass. The other problem with Az is you can change your party affiliation to vote in the primaries, so dems move over and vote for her then change back. I think sheriff Lamb would have been a better choice to beat Rubin. Just like Karen Tayler Robenson would have beat Hobbs.

Huge missed opportunity for republicans. If they put almost anybody else in that seat, they would have won.

At the end of the day, don't let the (R) by her name fool you. She is a jackass. She drug the state through a huge lawsuit which cost us Arizonans money. Should trump have won AZ in 2020? Maybe. But should or would she have won? Never. Not to mention she runs her mouth worse than any politician I've ever seen.

What sucks is Ruben Gallego has been in politics for a long time and hasn't done anything worth while. This was a mistake and should have been avoided.

I think her initial abortion positions came back to haunt her.

Arizona passed prop 139 last night, which gives a State constitutional right to abortion. I voted against it but it overwhelmingly passed.

Ruben Gallego ran and sounded Republican-ish through the whole campaign. Don’t actually know the numbers, but his TV commercials were four to one over Kari Lake.

Kari Lake is actually pretty intelligent in my opinion, but she does have a brash way about her that people don’t like.

Lamb will be running for governor next time around
He has a lot of support and I think it will grow even further.

I would like to see him be appointed Boarder Czar. Cause we all know he would actually DO his job.

The abortion issue is going to kill the Republicans every time. We have become a more secular nation and people want to use it like birth control.🙁

I think Trump would’ve had a much easier landslide had it not been for the “women’s rights” issue of abortion.

When all else fails for the dems they run to the abortion issue. They began to do it with this election too especially in ads I saw. They labeled every republicans as very anti abortion.

I voted no on prop 139, but part of me is happy it passed. Their single big issue riling people up is done. Time for everyone to move on and focus on real issues that actually affect our lives. I see a red future for AZ moving forward.

Here’s what I don’t get.
The “abortion issue”…
Trump did not make abortion illegal.
Nowhere has HE banned abortion.
The SC correctly ruled that RvW was not a constitutional issue.
It NEVER should have been ruled on to start with.
We are not a nation of dictatorship where the feds tell us what to do outside of our constitution.
State authority over State issues is EXACTLY how it’s supposed to work.
If a person does not agree with their States position on any issue, then work to change it or move to a different state more in line with a persons needs or ideology.
I am not a right to lifer. I have no problem with early term abortion, especially with extenuating circumstance’s.
I’m FAR more against having further federal oversight and laws on things that are legally outside of their jurisdiction.
What’s so hard to understand about that?
The way it stands right now, the President and the Federal government have zero to do with abortion.
That’s how it should be according to the Constitution.
This is something that has become a catch phrase and rhetorical perch with zero regard to the reality of the issue.

Abortion is an issue because of the press and dems misleading the people, I bet 80% of Az voters thought that abortion was banned in Az
Exactly.
I’m not going to pretend it’s a presidential issue.
Votes or no votes.

I voted no on 139, but hey, if these bitches that use abortion as birth control want to keep exterminating future democrats, that's up to them, and I believe that it is something that they'll have to answer to God about. At least they'll stop screaming about "their riiiiiiiiiights!!!!" 🙄🙄

I voted for Lamb in the primary. I like Lake, and ultimately voted for her, but SO many people don't like her because of the challenges to the 2020 election.

Hoping Lamb has a bigger future in Arizona. I'd throw a leg on him fo sho, err, I mean I think he'd be great for our state. 🤤😍

That’s why I voted no on 139. 15 weeks should be enough to keep liberals from jumping off of bridges.
So I just saw a voter analysis on FOX that showed the #1 issue with voters was the economy.
(38%)
Second was immigration.
(23% I think it was)
A distant third was abortion.
(11%)

So what that tells me is that the mantra of “abortion abortion abortion!!” is nothing but media and liberal rhetoric at this point.
I hope they continue to pin their campaigns on that going forward, because it will not equate into results.
The American voters have obviously shown that single issue crusaders engulfed in misinformation are not going to run this country.
🤷🏼‍♂️

In short, abortion was so 2022…

Kari Lake was right about 2022 being all F'ed up in Maricopa county. The fact that she stood up for it makes her more attractive as a candidate to the base that now runs the party.

The bottom line why she is not popular is because the corrupt RINO's that run Maricopa hate her because of her border stance. They want that cheap labor and their media mouthpieces have you all fooled. She is MAGA to it's core.

If the RINO's weren't such butt hurt bitches, she'd be the current governor and your state would be much better off.

Not to mention, she wasn’t real popular when she forced the GOP chairman Bill DeWitt to resign when he tried to bribe her.
The deep state RINO’s are alive and well in Arizona.

Great point, I forgot all about that!!!

In case people haven't figured out this current political playing field, let me explain for all who still are confused.

You judge your candidate by how much push back they get from the media and the R establishment. If they don't get that unhinged push back, they are swamp.

We're not the party of go along to get along and then get absolutely NOTHING done.

Man up boys and girls, we're in a war with the R establishment and their friends........................the Democrats.

I read some, and heard on the radio, that every "swing" state had some abortion thing on the ballot. The reasoning, to get that group to vote, in an election with little enthusiasm. Another thing that was mentioned, foreign money can be used for state elections and ballot measures, but it cannot be used in federal stuff. So, by sponsoring liberal candidates and causes, foreign money can sway the turnout at a minimum.

If you toggle the year from 2024 to 2020 you will see that Soros open contributions alone were 3 times more in 2020 than 2024.
The influence is absolutely tangible.
This is not even a scratch on the surface of his Statewide spending.
His funding groups have tenticals spanning nationwide and in the tens of billions of dollars.

I voted for her, but like other have mentioned she isn't a great candidate. Way to vocal and that chases people away in my book. Some times the loudest is the hardest to listen to.

F' me! 2022 he was particularly generous. Dwarfing both 20 and 24 combined.

I liked her on the news, but not so much as a candidate. Gallegos though? He's the epitome of what's wrong in politics right now. From Chicago I believe, father was a cartel guy, for open borders...oh, and thinks guys should play in girls sports.

I understand that people don't like her, but did she win the R primary?
I think she’s actually pretty smart, she verbally joust with the best of them. Her problem is sometimes she goes a bit too far and I think that’s what turns people off.
