South end of the Puget Sound, Tacoma Washington. That's about a 25 minute run south of Seattle, and a couple of hours from the San Juan Islands. This global warming thing is working out well for Western WA. We still have all of our favorite lakes and rivers, then there is the Puget Sound that's linked to Lake Washington. These longer warmer summers are letting boat owners use them for more than 4 months now.
I'll post some pics after my early August camping trip to my favorite lake. 700' deep, crystal clear cold water, camp sites big enough for the travel trailer, 25' boat and trailer and both tow rigs. Also has 3 tent spots that come with it. 1 hour from my house, 45 minutes from Seattle. No lines at the ramp, very few wake boats.
As IROCDave said its South Puget sound. We live just west of Tacoma. We've had some incredible boating up here so far this summer.
Great pics everyone.. Thanks for sharing:thumbup:
