@HubbaHubbaLife , would go fishing down there when young with Pops. He was Mexican, spoke fluent Spanish and liked good food. We had a 71 GMC with a cabover, and then an late 70's class C. Never did the touristy, high end, places. The people weren't trying to kiss your ass like in TJ, just friendly like small town stuff.

Still going on like that..... just south of Hotel Rosarito maybe 5 - 10 minutes is a local fish "market "where they beach the boats after morning catches and sell right on sand.... Popotla is name or location. I grilled hallibut tonight caught at noon.

Oh that's a thing and I think you should still do it!

I have too much stuff. I did a real good job a few years back of getting rid of shit, and living a cheaper more simple life. Since then I have done a really good job of acquiring more shit. I’ve driven the lowered dually a grand total of 11 miles.
