When I was 18-20 this is exactly what I wanted. I ended up with a stock squarebody crew cab dually and have never looked back. I still like the looks of an extended cab in this body style 👍👍

That 90' will have Throttle body injection if not mistaken and they were gutless.
I had a 88 extra cab then a 94 crew cab, the 94 drove so much better when I had the cat removed. night and day difference.

Both 454, the 94 was a 4 speed over drive, overdrive is a must have!

I agree
When my trans goes in my crewcab I’ll swap to one with overdrive
In the meantime I’m kind of on the lookout for an ls package and if the right deal comes along I’ll swap both

just do a gearvendors overdrive now. That made my crew cab much nicer to drive down the highway. I wont say it got better mpg, but I could hang with the speed limits finally.

Sound financial decisions have left the chat. The work involved to body drop a full size dually gives me a headache just thinking about it. How long did that take?
Not my truck. It’s Brian Macy’s, he was at the shop today then out on a lake test with Mario

Every time you bastards start this dually thread I flash back to July 2000' when I choosing between a lowered 99' Crew Cab dually with 6k miles on it and a 2000 OBS Crew cab short bed.... I went short bed... have to say she is the best truck I have ever owned just dropped a new engine in her at 402,000 miles... have wanted to lower it since day one but never pulled the trigger

@monkeyswrench Looks like we're the only two awake tonight ha... yeah that truck has been nothing but a great fun and perfect fit down in rosarito thus far. I've really only been here a week cause I was back east a bit. the turning radius and big tire rub has been a bit of a challenge taking tight U Turns in traffic cause folks here are super aggressive and I sometimes have to do 3 point turns and back into incoming traffic.... today while tire was flattening out I almost backed into a dude flying past me.... Fridays here make LA look friendly apparently.... I live just south of Rosarito Hotel in Popotla wanting to get into a bit of a sketchy part of Baja to feel the culture rather than get behind the walls like most Ex Pats. So far the trucks a keeper and I love going through those gears making noise!
