Yes I plan on doing a stereo upgrade this winter too. My boat is an '04 as well and I upgraded the head unit the week after I got it. I want to put in new 6X9 speakers, a modern amp(s) and a 10" sub or 2 this winter.

I have two 10" subs in the cuddy and 10 6x9's. Could have spent more but it's plenty for us

Need to rebuild the pump on this thing again :grumble: and hopefully will have a bonus to get some new interior going for this pile, currently it has fallen apart.

If you need a place to store your interior, I have room in my garage. [emoji106]

Were pretty dialed right now....

Hallett will need to get serviced and detailed after thanksgiving and the hatch wood replaced as its rotted at the hinge.

Toon just got a new double stainless Bimini and is ready for duty.

Let me know what you find if you don't mind. I don't know much about stereos.

Will do. I am going to have a stereo shop in town mount the sub(s) and complete whatever interior trim work is needed, and I will probably do the rest. Replacing the speakers is very straightforward and once the sub is mounted you just run the wires to it. The amp will be remove and replace pretty much.

I was thinking of going with a nice 5 channel amp, running the sub off of the 5th channel, but I need to do some more research.

Yea I like your setup. I only have 6 6x9s and it sounds ok for what it is, but needs a bit more thump.

I have a cooler on one side of the cabin though so if I put both subs mounted like yours, the handle of the cooler rests on the sub and I'm sure will just rattle. So I am going to mount a sub behind the cooler, and possibly another mounted like yours on the side that has the seat.

If not I may just mount one 10 inch sub under each captain's chair. I'm trying to do this to keep as much storage space as possible.

I need a place where I can work on it locally at my leisure. Garage isn't big enough, we don't ''need" a bigger house right now. Thanks for the offer:thumbup:

Your dad gets some good use out of that toon. I think I saw him giving a lady a "ride of shame" one morning.

Did you sell the ultra to someone in the keys? I thought I saw it out there a couple times this weekend?

I can store everything in the boat storage while the boats at the gel shop, just a pain in the ass because I can't get it all done in one weekend. It would be easier to do everything here. Life was easier when I wasn't a boat owner :p

It is on consignment at Cobra right now, and there is an ad on their site. It is a good boat. Less than 10 hours on a full service. Hit me up with any questions and I have more pictures. Hernando does not know a ton about it. It's got less than 10 hours on a full service. All Amsoil synthetic fluids and wix filters, plugs, distributor, rotor, impeller, trailer service.

It's got 2 amps, a 10 inch sub, 6 6 1/2 speakers, JVC Bluetooth/USB head unit.

I may actually sell the Daytona next year, but I'm not too motivated.

No matter what though, buying a jetboat so I can play on the lower river. At this point it may be a $5-7k typical jetboat, but if business continues the way it has been, we're get a nice CP.

Cool. I also had them replace the rubber inserts on the swim platform if they have not done that already.

The old ones were dry and curled on the edges. That was really the only detail letting the boat down.

I got off on l and went around to outlet center. Getting on the 40 was also closed. Took 163 to 95 to 40. Goffs was also closed. We almost stayed but work is slow and I'm kind of on the shit list [emoji15]

I have a life full of projects! 2 boats, a truck, and a house. Moving sux and I don't think I'll ever get everything unpacked. I have been working on the garage and really need to make more progress, especially now that it's cooler. We have some furniture that needs to go and I have crates full of motor parts that need to go too.
uploadfromtaptalk1445367426024.jpg
If I can get that done I can bring one boat home for a motor teardown, flattened a cam last year. uploadfromtaptalk1445367087721.jpg
If I can get that done I'll fix the a/c on the truck and maybe fix the front fender that's been fuct for the last 6 years.
uploadfromtaptalk1445367212075.jpg
If nothing else gets in the way then I'll try and get back on the Hondo.

Throw a couple more on there and I'll tow the Miller out to you!
Does 80, runs great, no leaks, lots of cool stuff.

I know you have more in the engine than that, but I'll have to wait till next year. I actually left my boat up in Redding. Storage is so cheap and plentiful up there.

started building this last November, after a series of bad luck and three complete engine rebuilds I think I might be just about ready for some winter boating on the river.

Got a 230 Cobra Razor. My 2006 trailer tires finally are giving out so I will be replacing them shortly. I'd like to put in new billet battery boxes and get my interior detailed. Plus a annual service.

Selling image.jpg image.jpg image.jpg image.jpg its a 1986 velocity completely restored from the stringers up. 450hp stroker small block turns 6000rpm and runs 80mph without tuning. All new livorsy gauges hydronic Latham steering and upholstery . 3 years project and 2 more kids than I can fit in the boat made me buy the fountain in the picture. It has maybe 15 hrs ( family hours) on it. Email [email protected]. Pm me for phone number if interested. ( child or wife not included) lol

Installing the on board charger / battery maintainer and upgrading the fuel system. Already have amp and sub with system that does well, just replacing a few speakers and maybe adding another amp......not sure yet. Really don't want to spend a lot this winter as I dumped quite a bit of coin into the Eliminator last winter to just end up selling it.

Wife and I starting talking about letting the river home and canaba go. Just not sure yet. I'd never find front row in Moonridge in my lifetime again if we sell it.

If so the 21 Ultra and cart go with it ... LOL and bunch of other stuff.
