Many years ago I was sitting at the 2nd Saloon across from the LA Times building.

I was close friends to the bar owner, did lots of AC and refer work for him.

A reporter was interviewing Jerry Quarry and the bar owner invited me over to their booth.

Quarry was being rejected by doctors and the boxing commission to box and that of course made the news.

Quarry said: “if blacks are involved, the fight ain’t legit.”
All the media over the top drama has me buying into that plus:

My kids say the Paul’s are all kinds of scammers, not to be trusted. One daughter and one son are big boxing and MMA fans they think the fight will be fixed.

I've been to every Tyson fight in Vegas, if you heard the power when he hit someone you would actually feel a thump in your stomach, and in his hay day he was so fast it was like watching a middle weight throw punches and when he connected watch out, he looked good at the last training session. The only other fighter that the thump could be felt was with George Foreman he was a monster hitter as well. If Jake runs around the ring like a chicken shit it will be a shit show if he commits to fighting he is going to get his ass handed to himself...

I think all of Jake’s fights are fixed. That being said, if Tyson can’t beat a 51 year old RJJ 4 years ago, he’s not beating Jake now.

Its an exhibition fight theres nothing in it for anyone involved but money. Thats why theres been so much hype around it. Either way jake paul is a piece of crap anyway because hes taking on fighters way past their prime. If he actually was good and had some pride he would fight towards a belt. I was watching some YouTube last night on Tyson...

Gawd the man Was a killer in his day.

The Hollyfield fights were a different story though. He didn't look anywhere near the same.

Then I watched some of the Jake Paul BS. Supposedly Tyson put Paul in the hospital, during one of their "practice" fights??

Tried to find the vids of that, but nothing actually turned up.

Who knows if this is real, or not.
