Once in a lifetime experience. Backstage at foo fighters at Petco. Damn they put in a good show. They played for 3 hours straight. I will never be able to top this.

Holy shit. Great job, Dad!!

I just got done reading Grohl’s book. Need to catch a show sometime.

My brother in law is crew on the tour. Huge props to him. It was absolutely amazing nothing like it. They are way harder live. Grohl was screaming for a good part of the show. I don't know how he does it night after night. Great crowd great venue. If you have the chance to see them live do it.

… Was backstage for many many shows in the 60s… , no technology like there is today… Good on you pops… of course, there is the future possibility of counselors from your kids schools, calling you in for meetings to discussing the possibility that there may be something wrong with your children’s hearing😳

I've been backstage for many of the greats back when I drove equipment.

I'm glad to see the ear plugs, I am definitely paying for never wearing any now.

You would be surprised. I spent some time talking to the techs. By the way nicest people working on this show. Everyone we met was amazing. The guitar pictured above was a 1960s les paul. They also had the bass plugged into a 1972 tube amp because it provided the best sound. They had mapped the eq to a digital amp it was close but wasn't perfect they used the digital as a third option. The backup was a 1974 tube amp.

Kids were definitely wearing plugs. The concert was insanely loud.

Good job. I got a call a few weeks ago from a friend. Asked if I would bring a couple old cars over to Charlevoix for a celebration of life for a old car dealer. She told me who is was, told her I had to talk to my wife. She was all in. So last Sunday I took my 31 Speedster and the 48 Ford F100 over to the Argonne. It was for Kid Rocks Father. It was a party. He had his house band from his Nashville bar play. Uncle Kracker stood behind me all night. One of the original Journey members got up and did a song. There were several people that I never figured out who they were yet. They let us in and drink and dance with everyone. Crazy experience. I left after 11 pm, was nervous about the lights on my 93 year old car. My friend said Kid and uncle Kracker got up on the stage after we left. He has a nice looking sister who was very nice. The other one was high on something. We had to agree to leave our phones when we went in.

That is awesome. We were at the Petco show and ended up with tickets in the Pit for last nights show in LA too. Foo never disappoints!
