You know I always screw with Stacy just to have a bit of fun with her and keep her on her toes. It's not often that she goes off on her own, but occasionally she'll make plans. So whatever it she's off to do she will always ask.. "Well what are you giong to do when I'm gone?" And invariably every time I'll come up with something on the fly = or better to her plan just to joke with her... and invariably she gets pissed.

For example while taking her to the airport yesterday so she could go to TX, I said "I might take a drive down to ensenada for the weekend and hang out." Instant silence and "Why would you want to go to ensenada by yourself?" my response "Well honey it's dangerous down there right now so I'd rather go without you god forbid something actually did happen." Then it starts because she loves mexico and we haven't been in awhile because of the problems down there.


So we fast forward to this bacholorette party thing. I tell her I can't go because it's a chick thing, and I don't want to goto Parker because I feel like I'd be intruding on them, and I don't think I'd be able to not stop by the house to check on things etc.. With that she volunteers "I'll go, it'll be fun. Don't worry about it I got it all under control."

So I call Gordo and say "Well what's goin on in Havi that weekend?... Nothing? Ok I'll grab my boat and be up there."

Stacy's response went from "It'll be fun." to "How come I gotta baby sit the retards?"

So for a chick is the amount of fun you have directly proportional to the amount of fun your man is not having or something? LOL Because I garauntee if I was sitting at home on the couch she'd be thinking baby sitting the retards (as it's now called) is more fun then you can shake a stick at.. But now a trip to Havi and it's boring?

IMO they all do it. If they plan something they deem to be "fun" then it is fun so long as they are having more fun then their counter part. If the counter part then were to make his own plans and it happened to be (In the girls eyes) potentially more fun then their original plans.. Then their original plans no longer seem "fun" even though nothing has changed.

Doesn't make sense to me.

I.E. "Honey I'm going to go over to my buddies house and have drinks I'll be back later tonight /tomorrow." Girl says ok. She comes back with "I'm going to take the red eye to vegas and i'll be back in the morning." It doesn't change the fact that the guy is still having a good time with his plans.

Inversely though if the woman were to say "I'm going shopping with my friend today and won't be back till later tonight" and the guy said ok.. and responded with "I'm going to take my nephew to disneyland all day and will be back around the same time." Nothing changed on the shopping trip, but suddenly their would be an issue of sorts. The amount of fun in the womens eyes has now suddenly dimenished a bit, even though nothing has changed with the original plan.

I'll admit the 1st post was a bit "skewed" in the fact that maybe Stacy doesn't want to go baby sit the girls.. I dunno. But I can tell you this. If I wan't going to Havi and I was sitting at home on the couch it wouldnt be an issue. LOL So in my mind it applies.
