probley went out the door for 56k, my 2015 wild cat with 525, triple trailer,full hydraulic was 72K, but I had a trade in , a 2009 with a 496 ho , it was 62 in 2014 got 63k trade in..

The Mercury Racing blue motors are spec to run 87 octane per the manual. That includes my 500efi and the 525. The new Mercury Racing 520, 540 still run 87 octane as well, it changes to 89 octane on the 565.

I'd offer $40K if it is clean. Maybe as high as $43K depending on condition. With that many hours that 525 will need a valve springs and other crap soon, right?

You actually will lose performance running higher octane fuel than required. It can also add to transom soot etc..

That said new ethanol fuels will actually lose octane points (faster than you would think) so if the boat is going to sit (even for a couple of weeks) it's better to use Stabil, or to put a little higher octane fuel on the boat to begin with.

I don't know why were are even discussing the price. It is a Craigslist classified ad - You inflate what you will really take by 30-50% knowing everyone will only offer you 40-50% of what you are asking, and then they will ask you to drive it to them so they can see it.

The Avalon has been really amazing, zero issues. Got water just picked it up for service, I’m not even there. So that’s really helped as well. Same ‘custom’ builder service.
I’ve tried to be more of a toon owner mindset. I can’t, fucking cleaning it constantly. Still no beaching or anything.

I'd say that boat is 40-45K, the only reason being that
A - It's a 28' long deck boat, and that market is hot
B - That blue merc racing power

It may be a cheetah, and not the best looking deck hull, but it is still a deck boat with a blue 525. What else can you buy that size with a 525? Nothing!
