Sure but what broker would want to pay for a small container ship transport fees? Let alone a more expensive ride and now a further ride that needs to get taxes to pass the Panama channel? It’s all about the benjis

That’s the only benefit at this point. Maybe they will dredge the port to fit bigger bitches down the road. Point is there is no clear cut way to fix this. It’s time or money.

On time is a significant benefit. I’m air freighting stuff (small packages) so I don’t have to wait 3 months for the boat.

$200 is nothing (vs free, if my order shipped with my vendor’s normal stock) if I’m able to start selling parts at a huge profit now rather than not sell anything for 3 months. The freight cost will be covered the first day I have stock on hand. Smaller scale than a sub-Panamax ship, but same principle.
