And we have a start
No vdrives left?
One blowover with the boat at the bottom, one driver ejected from his boat, and the winner gets run into waiting for his trailer. Great race other than that.
Who won?
Guy was lah-dee-dahhing not paying attention in that blue boat..... https://www.instagram.com/p/Bazz9p5FAE0/
I forget the mans name, but he was in a Yamaha powered boat. He drove the four hours solo.

If it's the Yamaha powered boat he earned it! It's a real deal factory powered stick motor on an old sleek craft and it hauls ass!! I believe he owns sea witch marine! John is his name if memory serves.

Well, except for the new scratches...Take a boat off your sales lot slap some stickers on it and win a Enduro race. Pretty bad ass. Should help sell that boat. There was some great racing going on today.
The winning #147 boat was John Haddon the owner of Sea Witch Marine in Vista, CA. The dealership opened in 1970, a strong Yamaha dealer and not particularly known for high performance (they mainly deal in center console outboard fish boats -- Sea Fox). John's boat is a vintage 20' SST Sleekcraft (Mod-VP style), the same hull that Kim Howard used to drive/race so successfully for Sleekcraft about 35 years ago. Not certain about this, but I believe John drove the entire four hours on his own.
They said he ran the four hours himself, and won the iron man award two years ago for the same.
His body must be sore, but I bet he doesn't mind.

Ya, what was up with that dipship that crashed into him at the ramp??
Rod Zapf, He won his class and was 5th overall, 80 years old and used to race unlimiteds and was a navy fighter pilot and retired commercial 747 captain, pretty amazing guy still doing what he loves
No maybe. Maybe there is a reason he is retired. Drive ur shit right or put it on the trailer , or in this case on another guys boat.OK, maybe he gets a pass
