I think that comes down how good of a story you give them over the phone. “My car won’t start. I have to catch a flight in the next hour and I need it towed to XYZ”.

We used to use AAA to get home after drinking in our early 20s lol. Just tell them you don’t like the way the cars driving and you’re going to work on it at home lol

Drivers don't really care. Tell the phone it's dead and needs to be moved into the driveway. Tell the driver the truth. It's moving 50', not a real big theft concern...

Found a neighbor who had a contact with the local CHP office, he said he spoke to the officer and gave him the story and nothing is being done.


Sounds more like CHP just went out to appease the neighborhood Karen. Truth is CHP has bigger things to worry about than a car parked on a tiny subdivision street that's not even close to a main highway.
