yawwwwn.
At some point, shits gonna flatten out. How many more over the top tricks can they come up with?
These riders are doing stuff that wasn't even conceived of 3 years ago...and it's boring? Just because it looks easy and we've seen some of these tricks before, it doesn't mean it is easy :blah:
If you ask me, these guys risk their lives on every attempt and when they f*ck up, the consequences are usually not good...just sayin.
Don't get me wrong these guys are crazy talented athletes. Its not the riders who are boring just the show itself mainly i think because the excitement has gone mainly. I think because of the announcers and judges who critic them so strongly. They have to flip, but if they flip too much the get penalized. Just my opinion
FMX?....Is that the circus riders that couldn't hack it racing:hmm LOL
I will watch it if its on, but I would MUCH rather watch outdoor MX.
I've ridden a couple pro tracks, what I see those guys do gives me chills.
Are you one of those guys who sits half drunk in a sports bar or while at home on your couch criticizing the professional athletes in the game(s) you're watching? I hope not...
Most of those FMX guys came from racing and many of them were very fast! I don't blame them for going with the FMX $$. Very few can make a lifelong living from racing. And look at Travis Pastrana, even though he probably left a lot on the table he still kicked ass at the races!
LOL! NO, I'm not.
Just a guy who used to ride a lot, and would still rather be riding than watching anything on TV.
I wasn't bashing, I just have more respect for the guys grinding it out, doing the training and racing. It is a tough life, especially for the mid-level guys and below.
I don't blame them either, there is a lot more money to be made in FMX unless you can win titles racing. I don't recall any except Travis in FMX who has a title. Travis was fast as a kid, but if he was still racing, he would be in a wheelchair by now. That boy has always had a death wish.
I don't follow closely any more, but will always watch a race if I stumble onto it.
and no, I never had the balls to try it, or think of it. I was in my 30's when hart did his flip
