Better promoted over on that other site (blue and white background). Look in v-drive section.
Pretty much a v-drive party. All boats are v-driven and last year there were around 100 boats, vintage, classic, current, drag, circle, just about every style/type of v-drive boats. Vendors (not alot), pretty much open water for test and tune on Friday. Saturday several (dunno maybe 10-12) K boats (alcohol blown injected) will run a challenge for time as no side by side racing can be run at Irvine. It's an eyefull! Come check it out!

I have a friend whose Dad finally got his flatty put all back together, I think it has been a work in progress for about 25years. So keep an eye out for Yosemite Sam, they are excited for this weekend, I believe he actually went to Irvine today to make sure it is running and ready.

I think its 8am, could be even earlier. They usually put out a flier for the event but haven't seen one. Check out www.irvinelake.net and give them a call to get the exact time it opens.

Maxi, I got no issue with loaning either the goose or the gas. It just that darned reputation you've got regarding paying back on loaned items.
