Just found out today our homeowners policy did not renew due to wildfire zone. Having an agent get me covered under CA fair plan. I’m really dreading seeing what it’s gonna cost. Plus my 6 month auto policy will renew next month and with my wife having a fender bender last month, I have a feeling there’s gonna be a lot of KY needed

Ok instead of starting a new thread I figure I'll just bump this one. Statefarm policy renewal on auto this month and its up ~$600 for the year. Who is everyone using? IIRC AAA came in pretty steep comparatively the last time I shopped it. I am about to be paying $277/month for a paid off 2015 tahoe thats getting to be ancient. I have mid level coverage. I was ok with the $229/Month.

What say you??

I suppose first thing I'd do is call my highly valued agent and discuss the "Why" and utilize her vast experience exploring cost saving options.
Then, if I decide to go shopping I'll be better informed.
$2,748 a year for one vehicle you have been paying, seems to indicate you might be challenging to insure for some reason. That's probably what we pay State Farm for three vehicles.

Have you been checked for Sleep Apnea? Pretty common, Treated will stop the day naps at the stoplights, or the fwy stop and go. Happened to me. End of the 78 into Esco. Stopped for the light about a 1/4 mile back. Heard a horn honk, Oh shit! A 1/4 mile of clear road ahead...

Keeping this post going as Insurance is a real f....ing problem!!!!! Insanity.

Just got my combined Home / Auto insurance renewal with Encompass Insurance. It went up 200% with the home cost increasing the most. No Claims, No tickets, No changes and a long time Customer with Insurer. I Live in Orange County Ca.

Appreciate any recommendations................. Insurance Companies / Agents, Thanks
