What/who are you using for propane?

Or do they have natural gas utilities up there?

Thanks in advance. 👍🏼

Not living there full time but for our house we are right at the end of the Natural gas pipe so we use A&B Propane.

The natural gas system is definitely expanding though and the city can let you know what addresses already have gas line in the street or are connected. If it’s in the street it’s cheaper to connect natural gas than a propane instal with rental tanks. Because the natural gas pipeline stopped at the property next door it was $9k to run the width of my property since that is their requirement to get it closer to the next house. There was some mention of getting money back if more people connected farther along. Felt like a ponzi scheme. 😂

Right?

They told my buddy in Parker, they would sell him propane at HALF the price he is currently paying.

Great!

When he got the written quote, it was over 700 bucks to set up!!! 🤣

Fuckin thieves.

A&B. $600+ to refill my 250gal tank to 80%.....they are very quick to respond to your request. Every other supplier I've tried was always multiple days to over a week.
This last fillup I F'd up and was down to 1-2%😳😳. In a panic, I called at 4:45pm for a refill & by 9am the next day they had me done while out on my morning walk. I usually ask them to top off my RV while there too.
Original tank install I had done with AmeriGas & since my tank is in-ground I own it & can use any supplier.
If you get an above ground tank they usually provide the tank but you are then obligated to use whoevers tank it is for refills.

A&B Propane is our go to as well. They set our tank and fill when needed.

Havasu only has a few lucky areas that have natural gas. Most of us use propane.

Another for A&B, I own my above ground 250 gallon tank, I guess the buried tanks weren’t in Vogue when I put mine in.🤣

We also use A&B Propane. We had a blue-tooth monitor added to the underground tank so when it gets down to 30% it sends them a signal to refill the tank. It's approx $59 per year, and makes it very convenient as I really never have to worry about running out of propane anymore.

I wish I had known the real rules on propane tank when I redid my kitchen. Was told I needed a big tank somewhere in backyard but had no place to put. I then found out from a tank fill guy I could have put two smaller ones side by side outside my garage. I would have done that if I knew.

So they didn't have a problem with you supplying and owning your own tank?

At the time I had the choice and I didn’t want to pay rent. I’ve always used A&B to fill the tank and they have no problem with it. Been that way for years. I originally purchased the tank from AmeriGas.
