Trailer needs some TLC, which will result in it being repainted when I address the issue.
So what color should I go with? It is currently dark royal blue (burple) and matches the darkest blue sections in the gel.

Below are a couple picks, so what color would you go with?

I will also be upgrading a few items, so what upgrades would you add?

So far my wife has voted for dark blue and my daughter yellow. Not loving either of those, since we tried dark blue when Ultra repainted the trailer (trailer was purple when I first saw it). JW agreed it was ugly and had it repainted Royal Blue and while the chip matched the blue in the boat it came back darker then I really wanted. Matches the bow perfect, since the bow is very dark.

I would probably go with white as well.

Seriously though white would really make the boat stand out.

I agree. Keep it blue and upgrade wheels.

Wheels are being upgraded as part of this. Going to move up to 15's or 16's and go lower profile light duty truck tire. Wheels will either be black or chrome again.

I like white and add the clear led's. You also have grey on your boat maybe a metallic silver? ImageUploadedByTapatalk1455335476.203440.jpg ImageUploadedByTapatalk1455335499.646186.jpg

Being in the business and seeing this all the time, I would go with white! Looks clean and matches with the more dominant color on your Boat. If not, stick with the dark blue.

Light grey/silver to match bottom of boat. Upgrade wheels and possibly lights if you want to go that far. Doesn't look to shabby the way she sits now either. :thumbsup

You did blue and out grew it...

Yellow could "match" your boat - but I wouldn't do that ...

Many people say white - I hate white trailers ...

It's possible the grey could be your answer - but in my mind the blue might be the best match after all [emoji6]

I like my trailers like I like my women. Shiny and black.

Seriously. I like silver or black for trailers. I don't like colors as they never match perfectly. I don't like white, it just looks cheap to me.

I agree with Paul. I am redoing my trailer now and I am going gloss black

Decision made, went with a light grey to match pinstripes. Adrenaline got the work and starts today. While trailer is being worked on, boat is going to gel shop to fix sponsons.

Working on rims now

Also decided to replace bunks since they are 9 years old and cracking. Clear LED's to be installed later.

Expensive morning in Havasu between Adrenaline and Discount Tire
- Boat sponson repairs are being done
- Trailer being repainted (light grey), new bunks as well
- Trailer break fluid leak at master being fixed
- All diamond plate on trailer being power coated matte black
- new rims and tires ordered (photo below) - rims are very similar to wife's Yukon).

Later this summer I will upgrade the LED's to clear versions, since I can do that myself.

Everything should be done in 2 weeks, then it will get a full detail!

I'd hate the maintenance of a black trailer. The waterspots must be brutal.

My next trailer will be aluminum

White, in my opinion what ever color the bottom of the hull is should be the same as the trailer.

Where did you decide on the sponson repair?

I agree with the Silver or a Silverish Charcoal, both metallic.

On the other side of my brain......a nice burnt orange like the tip of those flames says Fuck Yeah.

If White, make sure no red oxide primer is used because every rock chip will stare at you.

What color silver did you end up choosing. I want to do the same thing, switch my trailer to silver. It is currently white. It seems like there are hundreds of different silvers to chose from. Also, would you mind PMing me the approx price for the repaint. I need to start getting my head around how much it is going to cost me. Thanks

So I decided on grey. Wayne Jr took the pics as the boat was headed to his shop for the gel repairs.
Based on these couple pics I like the way it turned out.

Everything (trailer, gel, detail) was completed today and I finally saw everything in person. Trailer turned out better then expected!
During the gel repair inspection Wayne Jr and I found something we did not like about the gel repair. We agreed it needed to be fixed, so the boat is heading back to gel repair to fix that issue.
I give credit to Wayne JR and Wayne. They let me vent my frustrations that we found something still wrong and they said to make it right they will reimburse me for my travel expenses to/from Havasu plus re-detail the boat and said boat will be done mid next week.
I was not happy that we found something wrong, but very satisfied with how the issue is being resolved! IMO businesses earn business with how they resolve issues and Adrenaline earned my future business and referrals with how they are dealing with this!

Once everything is done I will post pics of the new trailer all cleaned up!

Do you mind if I ask what the budget was for those wheels and new tires (if you got new tires?)? Are those 15" wheels?

Pm if you want???

Thanks

Locks on all 6 and the spare stays in the storage condo and is only stored on the trailer when the boat leaves Havasu

Wheels went from 14x6 to 15x7. 15x8's were going to cause clearance issue with current fenders, so I stayed with trailer tires.
For the 7 wheels and tires (plus Discount hazard certs on all tires), I was at 1750 before rebates. Got 400 in rebates and Adrenaline bought my old wheels and tires for 200, so total was 1150.

Came out great!

Do you use a metallic in the paint or is it a plain silver/grey?
