In-N-Out to change burgers

If "HABIT" built drive threws, Id NEVER eat at In&out or 5 guys again...... LOVE that place. In&out fries Sux! Rally burger fries Rule!

We do need to do a North County charter RDP lunch at Nessy Burger soon! have heard its the bomb for years now.

They built one in Upland on Mountain and Foothill, M EFER is busy all the time.

I would take a 5 guys burger over in n out. 5 guys burgers remind of backyard bbqing. [emoji106]

Dont get me wrong, in n out is good ... but I just think 5 guys burgers are better.

In n out fries are horrible.

You're also competing a $2 burger to a $10 burger.

For the price I think In-N-Out is tough to beat. But for taste, pricier burgers are where it's at.

I don't get the love with the habit? I am not a fan. I think a lot of you are really under selling 5 guys I would rather eat there then any of the other burger joints. Problem is no drive thrus although I love ordering on the app and walking in and picking it up without waiting. I'm whatever with inn n out. I'm over it really.

I'm pretty sure that Five Guys has taken over the In N Out crowd for now...

After decades of being a big In-n-Outs advocate my taste buds have taken me to 5Guys. I just haven't got the same desire for a double-double and 5guys fries are 100 times better.

I've been to The Habit in LaVerne 3 times and they all sucked - they can never get my burger right or they don't include everything I paid for either - granted all the times were take out, but still. As far as In N Out fries go - I like my fries soft so I tell them to lightly fry them then I use their spread for dipping sauce and empty the juices from my animal style double double into the fries too - good stuff!

On the 5 guys note- the last 2 5 guys I was in had the level of cleanliness akin to a dump.

Im not just talking about the peanut shells everywhere- Im ok with that.

Im talking about bags of potatoes In the corners with kids climbing over them, dirty tables, empty and gross condiment dispensers with smear everywhere over filled trash cans with flies buzzing everywhere, dirty bathrooms with no TP, no soap in the dispenser and no paper towels.

Never seen that at In-N-Out.

If you want a twist on a burger or sandwich, Bruxie the waffle place is a pretty good alternative.

Fast food burgers to me are in general inconsistent in comparison to many, even most Mom and Pop locations. That's what I eat when I want a good/great burger. The small chains I'm familiar with use fresh ground beef and that is hard to beat with frozen preformed patties.

This may not always work when traveling, but knowing local fare allows numerous choices.

If I eat a burger at a chain, it will be Fuddruckers. Ground fresh on site with fresh baked buns is hard to beat. They have some poorer locations, but overall, I like their consistency.

Tried 5 Guys a couple times and I am not impressed.:thumbsdown Fries were good it if you eat them hot.....
