I kinda got the impression he wanted to shoot left handed to be more protected by the building but maybe then became concerned for accuracy/control and went back to right hand? IDK...

We train both ways. Not as uncommon as you might think. To add to that, if you have a properly set up Red Dot or similar sighting system it's really not that hard.

And it really helps to have a true holographic sight. Not just you’re average red dot.
