They’re only getting a gallon to get them to the ArcoDTLA in front of Union Station. The deal is, there's always people pumping gas there, which doesn't make any sense. There's no rental car return or anything like that close by...yet cheaper gas stations are simply down the street.
But not $3 cheap!

At the speed you're driving, you won't have to worry about a speeding ticket! This actually surprised me. Kinda the middle of nowhere, so to speak. View attachment 1420724 View attachment 1420725

I noticed Nothing, barely, on the way back.🫣Bagdad‘s not the middle of nowhere, but it is kind of close to Nothing.
We drove out the nicely repaved 40 to the 89 into Prescott (dodged all the weather warnings), spent the night, continued on 89 to Kirkland junction where I encountered a drop dead gorgeous woman working in the corner market. Drove into Bagdad cuz I was curious. Picniced with the goodies I got from the market up by the breezy airport. Down the 97 to the largly repaved 93 towards Kingman. Big 30 hour loop.OK @Ziggy , what were you doing out this way? The road from there to Kirkland can be real exciting.
See what happens when the weather tax isn't added to fuel?I got here last Tuesday and was shocked to see fuel in the 2s mind you the high 2s but still in the 2s and by the way I think it has rained 5 inches since I've been here
