DTLA in front of Union Station. The deal is, there's always people pumping gas there, which doesn't make any sense. There's no rental car return or anything like that close by...yet cheaper gas stations are simply down the street.

But not $3 cheap!

OK @Ziggy , what were you doing out this way? The road from there to Kirkland can be real exciting.

We drove out the nicely repaved 40 to the 89 into Prescott (dodged all the weather warnings), spent the night, continued on 89 to Kirkland junction where I encountered a drop dead gorgeous woman working in the corner market. Drove into Bagdad cuz I was curious. Picniced with the goodies I got from the market up by the breezy airport. Down the 97 to the largly repaved 93 towards Kingman. Big 30 hour loop.
Lol....you asked😂😂

… I forget what year it was… But I drove my 1989 Ford 7.3 diesel… No turbo no overdrive… 410 gears from Northern California to Georgia to pick up a boat. my sister was giving to me…… I forget what diesel fuel was in California at the time, but it was kind of expensive and this truck sucked fuel mileage wise… I assumed that it was gonna cost me more than the boat was worth in diesel fuel …but whatever… I woke up one morning in Georgia and was going somewhere… Maybe to Walmart and I looked up as , I was at a red light next to a convenience store..,and diesel fuel was $2.45 or maybe $1.45… I guess this would’ve been maybe 2003 or 2004 … I had been paying probably $3.45 most of the way across country… Needless to say, I did a lot of diesel, cruising around Georgia🤷🏽‍♀️… So in the today world what do we have same shit… Spensive one state ..,cheap the next state😳

Alice and i swung in to Phillippe's located close by recently it was $7.99.
It'll go back and even higher if Harris get the POTUS.
Always plenty of customers. Used to be surrounded by addicts and nut cases.
