These 1.5 V solar chargers are on sale at $12 each at Harbor freight.
I bought a few to try in the Rzr and the trailer and see if they keep at least some useable charge on the batteries during storage.

I tested them and yesterday in the noon time sun they put out 1.5 volts as advertised.

So,, we'll see.

I choose not to support China and their communist party, I bought this brand used in VW's although it is most likely made in China. :p

I found that I don't park in the sun so they are doing me no good, I plan on tapping into my solar array and charging the stored vehicles off of a separate system. :thumbsup

don't forget you have to have a constant powered cig lighter or that won't do anything. If your cig lighter is 'off' when the key is off then that won't be charging anything....

Thats right, thanks for the tip.
I understand they can dis-charge a battery too.

They'll probably do duty at the river keeping the batts charged on the RV.

you also need full sun. I've used them in the past, they work to keep a battery charged, but don't do a good job of charging one.

Yep. We use them all the time on our toys that don't get used much. They maintain the battery very well, but if it is dead, don't expect to put it on and come back later.
