The universe is strange. Today is my mom birthday. She is no longer with us. Been a off type day, this date always is.
Im home searching you tube for something live music to chill out.
This pops up. You tube knows your likes. But i don't watch much coldplay.
If you're over 50, this will be more enjoyable. Which you will understand pretty quickly.
For me this was a perfect way to close out the day. Or year. Getting older is a bitch. This made being my age ok, for at least today
Enjoy....
(No way JBNSOCAL can call me homo on this one)

Getting old is difficult, and not for the faint of heart. I am 54 and old age has become a reality recently, I never thought I would see this point in life. It has forced me to look past my own selfish wants, needs and drive for more. The feeling is so foreign, life at this age isn't about providing, succeeding at work monetarily, accumulating shit that doesn't really matter in the view of being on the downslope of life. My parents are still alive, but pops is in poor health and I dread the day he or my mom are not here.

Thank you for sharing RR, it really hits home for me.

You're welcome. It hit home for me pretty hard. You explained it spot on.
It's one of those sing and videos that is not about the music.

i'm right at 80 and grew up watching Dick VanDyke and he's only gotten better with age, as we get older the reality of saying good by to your family and loved ones not you to them but them to you hoping to beable to hold their hand or getting one last kiss before you clouse your eyes for the last time

Thanks for posting, shit I hope I'm around at 80 with half his energy and he with all his senses!

I remember watching the Dick Van Dyke show remember in the early days he would fall over the autumn and then side step it later.

It's interesting you say this. Apparently there's 2 ages where significant aging 'steps' happen to most peope's bodies. 40-42 and 60-62.
I'm 64 - and ive found this is pretty much spot on.

My body started breaking down in my 40's from lifting heavy weights(for me😁) to long and not listening to my body. I'm the guy in the gym doing light weights with reps now lol.

This video is so cool and very poignant. Dick Van Dyke is truly an amazing man and a terrific entertainer. I had the opportunity to work with him on a Disney event 9 years ago - he was nothing but kind, and so fun to work with. He’s making 99 years old look young!

I think his voice has lost a little, but he's still got the moves. If happiness makes you live, he might have a few more years.

Thanks for the video.
