I would like to start off by saying I don't offen ask for help outside of my family.
I was injured at work and have been on workman's comp and S.S. disability for 5 years.
Two and a half years ago my wife wasn't feeling well , we went to the doctor and she was diagnosed at stage 5 kidney failure which was a shock. More testing and they discovered she has Anca Vasculitis, a auto immmune disorder which is a form of Lupus.
We have done home dialysis for two years , while going to multiple hospitals in many states to put her on their kidney donor lists.
On the 9th of November she was ¹admitted to Loma Linda to have open heart surgery to replace a valve that the Vascular disease destroyed. Many complications arose, and she was finally sent home but without the proper medication and had to return to the hospital via ambulance as her health had deteriorated.
On the 19th of November I had to do one of the hardest things I have ever had to do in my life. I had to tell the doctors to stop extra measures as April continued to fail ... Three minutes later I lost the love of my life and the mother of my two children.
