I'm going to go over to the "dark" side. After listening to tyro speak sense around here and now watching President Obama debate. I think I have seen the light....or dark in this case.

First bill, next lynch, then the HNIC himself. My work is on its way to paying off.

Romney didn't help his cause tonight. Yes for the first time I watched the whole debate so I can say that. He didn't answer questions, he tried his ass off to make Obama look bad and he just plain looked uncomfortable. Sorry guys, his time is near. 4 more years. Come on lynch say it with me.

How about the moderator putting Romney in his place a few times?

:rotflmao::rotflmao::rotflmao::rotflmao:

Pink tinted glasses and lack of hearing definitely have these effects......How about the moderator admitting after the debate she was wrong about the "Terror Act" comment?

And what was O's answer to the gas prices? And why 4 more years would be different? And why he hasn't introduced any immigration legislation as promised? And why he waited weeks before revealing Libya was a planned act of terror, not a spontaneous protest against a poorly made internet video no one had ever heard of prior to being brought into the situation by someone in the WH? And why he declared anyone going with coal as a power producing source of energy would go bankrupt, yet now he was "claiming" to back coal production? And why was he stifling drilling on federal land?

Need more 460, or is that enough to keep you stumbling for answers like your messiah?:rolleyes:skull

I started to type my views on the debate last night highlighting the differences. About four paragraphs in I came to the realization that if you don’t get it by now you’re a retard and I don’t really give a shit what you have to say. This board is made up of primarily affluent people with luxury items such as boats and second homes in desert ghost towns. So either I’m preaching to the choir, or disillusioned dip shits who want all of that without working for it. The latter will never "get it" . Democrats enslave the poor. Not just through bad economic policy but their souls. Democrats convince the weak, naive and stupid that their challenges in life are unique and that rich whitey is to blame for it.

My wife and I have already cast our ballots for Romney. I need to get back to work so I can buy more rental property as a tax shelter.

Forever yours,

You must have low expectations for how a person whom is the leader of the greatest country on earth is supposed to act. I am embarrassed of his "acting" for the last 4 years. :thumbsdown

You are entitled to your opinion, of course.
But IMO he is about as "presidential" as a bad hemorrhoid.

Basically an embarrassment to the Nation on a global scale, and a self serving panderer with a knack for creating hardship for the private sector (all classes) on a domestic scale.

As far as the so called "debate" goes....no class, no honorable behavior, nothing but rhetoric and lip service.

I am EXTREMELY dissapointed in Romneys' failure to call him out on several points when he had the opportunity.

That format of debate seemed to me more of a "Speech" contest....something that O has mastered, at least when speaking to his admirers.
To me, all I hear is him insulting our intelligence and being a condescending asshole.

What is truly disturbing is that he actually BELIEVES that he is doing very well for us, and about 45% of the voting public does also.

To Me that is a testament to just how far we have slid into idiocracy, and how incredibly difficult the climb out will be.

Like I said though, Romney can only blame himself for not owning it last night. It SHOULD have been very easy for him, yet He couldn't dominate. (Any time differential and moderator "input" aside)

I look forward to next week when they can go toe to toe. I would like to see a different Romney.
Not so polished and shiny, maybe with sleeves rolled up and displaying a bit of the "common" man that those close to him say he is.
I believe he is a great, normal sort of guy. I think THAT could swing some votes.

Either way, O is going down in November, IMO. There is just TOO MUCH BS that he has pulled in the last 4 years.

Very well said! Our ballots are also completed and mailed. Now it's all about the crap slinging vs honest differences - which are substantial and clear for anyone with a brain. V-Day can't come soon enough!

I already voted (absentee ballot) and even though CA is a loss cause, I really can't see how anybody can vote with an honest conscious for 4 more years of this misery we have had, it is really sad.

Well said Tommy and my thoughts exactly.

It was frustrating to see the openings Romney had, but didn't make more of them. In a way I think he set a few things up for next week and we just might see a real "shootout". The moderator clearly was ready to shut Mitt down and likely have kept him from doing more. But all in all if someone was to be completely objective, Romney won the majority of points and it was apparent O was desperate to "clinch" and whine to the mod when he couldn't overcome or avoid direct points.

The debates are far to biased with the media and moderators they choose. The country deserves to see a solid no holds barred open debate between the two. O just claims "not true" and isn't pressed to back up his BS in the current format. In an open fair format he'd likely blow his top and the world would see the tyranical narcissist manchild for whom he really is.....;)
