Being Jewish is not a race IMHO, it's mostly a genetic make up, I don't think A DNA test can prove 100% that a person is Jewish.
My half brother was a Jew from his father's side. There are African Jews, Japanese Jews, Inuit Jews. It seems difficult to call such a mixture a race. When i was 16 yesrs old ,i worked part time for a friend of my Dad. Jewish family owned a scrap yard in Buffalo,Ny. I really enjoyed working in that scrap yard.This many years ago,these guys were already into melting Aluminum into ingots,they really saw the recycle thing coming into our lives. I could see the future With this company. The owner and patriarch of the family called me into his office. He explained he could see i liked the work and what they were getting ready to do with recycle. He also explained i was not family,that i would never go very far at that yard not being family.Encouraged me to get involved in my own thing,whatever that might be at 16 years old. He mentioned ” make money doing what others do not want to do”. 60 years later i’m still in the street sweeping business.
