WELCOME TO RIVER DAVES PLACE

I think this kinda thing has been totally beat to shreds on here with skinny tire fans but this deserves to be posted. (Long. Major butt hole)

I hope the charges were dropped after watching the dash cam footage of him clearly moving over the cyclist. That kid didn't deserve the ticket. That old guy got off easy. Like mentioned should have had more charges.

Well he’s lucky that was a young kid. I think if he was to try that on someone not so young he would be riding away on a unicycle, the rest of that bike would have been stuffed up his skinny ass.

Pretty sure that's why he went after the kid, had it been a grown man he would have taken a license # and pedaled away with his d*ck tucked up his A**

Nothing wrong with a Saab turbo. Just a play on words I saw that was perfect. Actually a surprising car if you don't know what it is

I resemble your first sentence, in fact I drive 4 of them😎 but I only have beach cruisers & a fat tire ebike.😂
I saw a short of this vid and was appalled. Dude is definitely a fruitless duffus.
No offense, but my mom had one to drive me to school

That was one of the most respectful 22 year old "Skaters" I think I've ever seen. His parents would be damn proud!!

That cyclist was a complete asswipe. Typical behavior required to be a Skinny Tire Asshole here in L.A.

So there are gonna be dip shits in every hobby/sport but obviously there is a pattern or stereotype of skinny tire bikers and entitlement issues etc.

My question is, does the hobby create this or are dip shits attracted to this hobby?

Where does this attitude come from?

I have an uncle that is the same way and am genuinely curious.

23 year old me would have been so far up that old man's ass.
Would have loved a legit reason to teach some dick a lesson at that age.

Older, wiser me? Not sure how it would go down. I suppose it would depend on my mood. But open my door. I'm coming out . And it most likely won't be good for either of us.

I'll sum it up with one California Vehicle Code section that majority of cyclists refuse to obey.

California Vehicle Code section 21202(a) - Any person operating a bicycle upon a roadway at a speed less than the normal speed of traffic moving in the same direction at that time shall ride as close as practicable to the right-hand curb or edge of the roadway except under any of the following situations: passing a pedestrian, another cyclist moving in the same direction, making a left turn, etc.

A lot of the true assholes bring the hatred on themselves. They act as if they own the road and ride in a manner that utilizes the entire lane because they think they are allowed to. That's not the case, which is why motorists despise them. In our area, guys "Hog" the lane, forcing vehicles to drive at the same exact slow-ass speed because there isn't enough room to pass them. This is in L.A., where everyone is in a hurry, so of course people get pissed. Then, the ill-informed cyclist gets pissed because motorists are getting impatient or pass them too close for their comfort. So of course tensions rise and anger goes through the roof.

I don't ride as much as I used to, but used to put in 30-40 miles a day after work and more during the weekends. I did my best to stay out of everyone's way because I didn't want to get clipped by a vehicle. Majority of the guys I see riding today don't have that same courteous approach. 🤷

I lived on a road the cyclists would drive to from all over the state and then ride up. Beautiful, flat road in a canyon along the creek. Assholes would ride 2 wide so you couldn't pass on the windy ass road. Used to piss me off so bad. Plus it was mostly flat. Zero challenge. You could tell most were not real cyclists.

I have a different take on this....How would you react as a parent if this happened to your child? If some old libtard false imprisoned my son, I would be livid and most likely drive around looking for this old bastard and get myself in trouble.

Raise them right and turn them lose in the world, Don't fight their battles for them. I didn't catch the kids age but he did better than I probably would have at his age.

Watching the old man turn into a crying little bitch when the cop turns the tables on him is priceless.....

He went from "lock that little shit up" to "can i just apologize to him and we can go on our way" in a split second..... 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣

Kid showed a lot of class and composure for 22.

He sure did.
Maybe skinny tire Karens will learn from this. How many times have I been given the finger for no reason, even if just lightly tapping the horn to let them know Im coming in a wide vehicle. 🙄

Why was the 22 year old issued a ticket based off of word of mouth by an out of control douche? Can I go up to anyone I don’t like and have a Leo write them up?

Short answer, yes, you can try.
When a motorists calls in to report a speeder or reckless driver, and a Leo makes a stop the motorist that called it in can stand witness right there. Ticket will be issued at the discretion of the officer.
USUALLY the caller will not hang around and spend the time to go to the traffic stop and say “yep, that’s the guy that was driving like a maniac” or whatever. And will almost never show up in court.
Then the cop is wasting his time unless he sees the guy doing something else.
If you call someone in, you pretty much have to stay there to point the finger.
I don’t know the exact law, probably changes from place to place, but that’s how I’ve always seen it work.
